i purchased 15 rir hens at 1 day old from cackle. it was an amazing experience! they actually sent 16 of them, i lost 1 in the first week. i was upset to see 1 not make it but this is nature! the other 15 have been unbelievable!! perfectly healthy, all r soo beautiful!!!! they r just now starting to lay eggs! my girls r soo pretty! THANK U CACKLE HATCHERY!!! any body nervous about mail order doesnt need to be worried! they come in the mail hatched and ready to be put in ur brooder, show them water!!! i did exactly this and i am soo satisfied with the results! good luck chicken friends! i love them!!!

How did your order turn out?
I have been buying from them for several years with very good service and product. After buying well over 1000 birds in small batches they only made one mistake where they shipped the wrong breed but promptly replaced them and gave me the other incorrect birds at no charge.

I used to fish all night at my grandads ponds.............At sunset I would list to the Bob White......I live in Eastern KY. I have no idea how to keep them alive until they can live in the wild.....please send me info to raise them for wild release.......I want to hear them again.

I have ordered quite a few orders for different breeds from Cackle over the past 6 years and they always deliver healthy birds and give great customer service. This video shows their operation well and compared to some of the other hatchery videos on youtube I'm even more impressed with them. Good folks!
I just requested a catalog. According to your website, you hold from October through January. I guess I will have to do my ordering in November from your website. What is the point in ordering a catalog if I can't see it for three months?

Am requesting for assistance i bought an incubator of 96 eggs but when it comes to hatching most of chicks dry in the shell and fail to hatch what might be the problem ,what is the required temperature and humidity because my machine reads 37.8 temp and 60-70 humidity
