Fun fact the cac boomerang was our first production fighter plane ever built and would be one of our last as well (continued to build under licence eg the f89 and I believe we also made the British meteor in small amounts as well as the p40s p51 ect) only 250 where built with only 13 left surviving. For a plane of its age it was low powered but it was made with the attempt to try and compete with the a6m Lightly armed to but just like on the game in real life the 7.62mms had a issane high ammo count. In game my opinion is for the br it's fun to fly and can Dogfight well but with the slower top end speed and lighter machine guns it isn't the best premium That being said In real life any plane hit in the right spots with even 7.62 will be effected greatly with areodynamics so the real life counter part would of been more effect and pilots in the day only ever really fired when they had the best angel possible or well experienced in leading a target My great grandfather before we went to war with Japan flew in Britain with the raf got his leg half blown off by some sort of round wasn't able to fly again but he told my grandfather. That he once followed a bf109 for a full 3 minutes multiple barrols the bf109 did a stall climb to try and outrun the spitfire (the early Spitfires where carby feed so at a high climb or die the fuel would cut out from the motor unlike the Germans fuel injector system so it could go upside down even) and he didnt take a single shot till 3 minutes into the Dogfight fired a short 40 round ( 8x 7.62mgs) burst missed followed for another minute and fired again when in a good spot and a short half second burst of no more then maybe 50/60 rounds and the wing snapped clean off and it went down With all that bs spoken 😅 Loved the video mate great review keep up the videos

I wish they'd add the CA-14A or CA-15 Kangaroo, both seem impressive aircraft. It's a shame CAC could never get a deal on the engines & componenents they needed to get their domestic aircraft industry to shine the way it theoretically could. CAC engineers were clearly very talented.

They can be found on many British aircraft, have a look at the tree and you can find yourself some more without needing paying the GE price.
