Ardbeg is literally the best whisk|e|y in my personal opinion, you get so much for what you pay for!!! It’s smokey obviously, but you get a lot of complexity!!! It’s sweet as well as smokey.
One of the best distillery tours I've been on. Very informative with a family type atmosphere. Your interpretation and presentation was very good Ben and brought back so many memories of my visit many years ago. Thanks for taking the time and effort :-)
The outside of the distillery has changed so much in the last few years, with a new car park. When I was there in September 2018 they were also constructing a new building for new wash stills I believe.
Hi, Sorry for the late reply. You just didn't show up in the notification. My favorite Ardbeg is the Uigeadail th-cam.com/video/vRhCb-VIagg/w-d-xo.html

This has to be the most beautiful countryside I have ever seen. I truly hope to visit here one day.
We rent out our house when we are not using it just along the coast from Ardbeg: www.maolbuidhe.com/

Ben, did you hear of the Lagavulin 1993 Prima & Ultima 28 year? The label was just released on the 19th of this month. @50.1% abv
I love my local distillery. I am not old enough to drink whiskey yet : ( but Ardbeg do make a cracking cheese and ham panini!
It's the best scotch within it's price range by far, the only real contest is Lagavulin
Great video. I love their whisky and had no idea the place was so secluded
I enjoying this virtual tour
Before i die i need to go there. Please god let me go there!
And the piper will lead us to reason...
Man this video brings me back to last may 2017... i was there!!
Thanks for the video !!
I'd like to know how many casks of Lord of the Isles whisky are released each year? Col, NZ
ISLAY is pronounced EYE-LA NOT EYE-LAY. BTW Ardbeg does not use caramel coloring in their single malt whisky
chill filtration?
its almost green, and turns smokey on ice, i was disappointed at first, now i love it.
@@ARCSTREAMS non chill filtration.
@@mikeappleget482 that is what i figured,,thx
On the laphroaig tour on TH-cam master distiller John Campbell pronounced it eye-lay. I’d trust his word tbh
Where were they cooking the barley with peat smoke?
Love it, drinking Ardbeg Wee Beastie while watching this.
You had great weather !...which is your favourite Ardbeg whisky

Whisky.com great choice!
One of my favourites 🥃
Nice video and great whisky
Love this !
Since the malted barley comes in from outside the facility, does this mean that the barley gets peated somewhere else as well?
Laphroaig do themselves if not entirely but few portion
Enjoying my Oogie just now. Oh my, this must be heaven on earth.
Good work sir....
My favorite whiskey, pure class!
God the background is beautiful!
Hello Mr Bond. We meet again.
Good stuff.👍
Don’t forget the piper’s dram!!
What else is there to do in Islay other than learn a lot about whiskey and get very wasted on it?
Not much
Are you a robot ? what a voice...
#Whisky.com - Continue the great work. Love your videos. Very informative. Please keep them comnig. God bless you.
If you didn’t mean to offend you shouldn’t have said anything. His voice is just fine

Wut?
Very dull tour. Found myself fast forwarding through most of it.
John Deere riding mower in the yard
Pagodas....you are trying too hard. Maybe watch the laphroaig virtual tour.
ARRRRRRRRRDDDDDBEGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Looks very industrial and soulless compared to Laphroaig
less money on choppers and more money on cameras perhaps?
...or you can just go there yourself and shoot whatever video you'd like to your satisfaction.
