BS6 vehicles are different from previous one. This ad blue technology is good and also creates the problem.

@17:23 u can paste rubber lining with some glue (like found on door edges) on tank to get this problem sorted
This way 2 rubbers rubbing each other won't cut each other

Just a small tip, use boiling hot water (if available from near by home/hotel) and pour it on engine before u start ur car...it works like a charm !!

DPF filter gets choked when the engine is not reving above 2k RPM for a longer period of time ,, if you leave your car started there is a possibility of DPF getting choked cz you're car will be revving around 900,1k RPM for 6,7 hours

Another TH-camr was starting his thar every 2 to 3 hours in night and it was starting without any issues. You can try it out next time

Raat ko gaadi lagane waqt snow clear karna chahiye gadi se. I am used to a bit of these conditions being a kashmiri but yes -18 is extreme
Watching your videos seems like BS6 thar is not good for winters. DEF is pretty common in new diesels and being from Canada the trucks here operate in -45 as well but the diesels here do not have as much issues. Again subpar engineering. How did the engineers not think of the most common use case of thar that people will be taking it to higher altitudes in himalayas as it is the only location in india to offer extreme roads which they advertise the thar is actually made for

thar is a heavy car not at all suited for snow thar is more of mud offroader
for snow gypsy petrol is always best light and nimble with great petrol engine

Brilliant but after watching this then I think companies should introduce BS6 ENGINES WITHOUT DEF... Thar is a fabulous vehicle but this is an major issue any one can stuck on such altitude due to this problem... I hope Mahindra will do something about this issue till then GYPSY ROCKS no issues at all take it to any conditions -30 or plus 50 because of less electronics that is why it's an army favourite 4x4 till date

Bro you have deep knowledge about BS6 engine issues you manage it anyhow..but what about normal people who doesn't have any technical knowledge... they'll suffer every now n then with this E21 error issue and end up hating the vehicle
