I felt that CTF game in the depths of my soul. And a bit of positivity for the boys: if you ever feel useless just remember that service tags exist but the game will not display them instead of a teammate's whole ass name - talk about useless. (Unless there's a setting to turn that on that I haven't heard about.. besides the one for custom games)
