Curious why he wets the mould first then adds tissue , far easier to put you tissue down while the gel is 'tacky' No gloves on baffles me ..catalyst is a bastard if it gets on skin same as resin ....
What about the pva release and how he releases the mold ??
Use 7 coats with mold release wax. 1 coat, then wait 30 min,and so on. Honey wax it called.
Looks really glossy I imagine honey wax or tr210 or a system like chemlease ect

What did you use on tissue lay up. What do you call the mat or "tissue" you use? Thanks brother.
We used ISO resin on for tissue layup with sponge roller.It's called tissue mat, surface mat or surface tissue etc..all same.

I think it is csm 250 for tissue coatingAnd gelcoat is made up of resin collor pigment and cobalt and hardner
do a video on you plug making please your flanges look good
First we do a wooden plug by cnc machining with flanges. Then a mould from it. There upon a plug like the one above is made from the mould.
i just glass on glass sheets but have a cnc plasma cam - wood cnc table thanks for the idea
