It looks like a properly done job - congrats! How would you sum-up the comparsion of these two methods? Which one is better? Which one is faster? Which one is cheaper in manufacturing an cheaper in tooling? Greetings from Poland!
1. For large parts like windmill covers and big boats infusion method is appropriate, and small to medium parts LRTM. 2. RTM is faster. 3. Pricing depends on the process chosen.
With RTM you have a top and bottom half to your molds, so your tooling costs are roughly double. On the other hand, since you don't have to mess around with the vacuum bag for each part, the setup is usually quicker. Also, with RTM you don't have to buy a new disposable bag for each part. And both top and bottom RTM surfaces are finished. Tooling can get very expensive, so large items where you're only making a few parts favors the infusion process, otherwise RTM has the advantage, especially if you need a good finish on both sides.
This is not RTM!!! They are both infusion methods: the first with a rigid mould, the second with film moulding. RTM is a pressure moulding not a vacuum. These are basics!

I think rtm is better, since you get parts with both sides smooth finish..
congratulations. btw. what is the future of this kind of manufacturing? how much can be automated?
Well done. Do you supply RTM moulds ?

Yes. You are right. This is not RTM, its called Light RTM or Vacuum assisted RTM.

The infusion is full of air! 😂
I think RTM is more costly.
