In a Saheeh Hadith narrated by "Muslim" in "Mishkat al-Massabih" from "Abu Hurayrah" that the Messenger of Allah said: "By the One Who the soul of Muhammad is in His hand, whoever hears about me of this nation, a Jew or a Christian, and did not believe in what I brought, except he will be of the people of Hell."

Sunan Ibn Majah 3825
It was narrated that Abu Dharr said:
"The Messenger of Allah (saas) said to me: "Shall I not tell you of a treasure which is one of the treasures of Paradise?' I said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (There is no power and no strength except with Allah).'" (sahih)
May Allah guide our every step and grant us closeness to Him, may He make us and our loved ones of the righteous ones He loves. Ameen.
I really wish there was more of an easier a way for born Muslims to connect with Reverts. I’m born in Canada and find that westernized Muslims 90’s onward are more open to supporting reverts than our immigrant or elder generation parents and I’m sorry that this is a repeat experience for Reverts historically.
Not just to reverts tbh, our older generations are harder to connect with Muslims from other countries with different madhabs etc. Elhamdulillah we are born in an environment where we can interact with a lot of people with different backgrounds. But people back then mostly lived their entire life in the place where they were born and always kept their lives to themselves. Inshallah it will be better in the future.
قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
-Q 39:53. Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."
A clear victory of Islam.
In Muhammad's time, child marriage was legal, which proves that he was no different from ordinary people. His coming was not to correct the mistakes and morals of ordinary people, which proves that he was not a role model for all mankind.
@@josephchuah2420 If you think that was a mistake then why didn't Jesus or any other prophets end early marriage? We believe prophet Muhammed [pbuh] was a human. His mission was to establish oneness of God on earth. He completed it.

10. Did you find any challenges or trials after your shahada ?
11. How much impact has Islam had on your life since your reversion?
12. What advice can you give to someone who is going through a similar journey you went through to become a Muslim?
13. What advice can you give to born Muslims or Muslims dealing with new Muslims?
14. What advice can you give to new Muslims as far being new in the Deen ?

Since when people after puberty are called children . In some states in America 16 or even fourteen is a legal age for marriage

Do you allow your daughter to get married at the age of 9, 14 and 16? If yes, you are a pervert because you will also marry a 9-year-old girl. Child marriage is common in Muslim society.
@@user-be3lz2ws4p we used to get married when we were 14-15, boys and girls, since we didn't live that long back in the days. Maby little over 50 year lifespan.
According to old Testament Scholars Isaac married Rebekah when she was three. Joseph in his 90's married Mary when she was 12. The age of consent in America in the 1880's in over 36 states was 10 with the exception of Delaware where it was 7.
