If you read the book, then you know how disappointing this movie battle is. In the book there is also a sky battle with all your favorite fighters, and a space battle with all your favorite spaceships.

They even got H2A models for the Elite and Grunt too. Though there would've been a good variety of Spartans, considering this is after Reach released even in the movie universe. I can't imagine someone there picking an ugly ass Halo 4 Grunt but not one person rocking their own unique Reach Spartan or Halo 3 Chief or something. Great clip though. I'm glad they did a little bit more than just grab some of the newest models from Halo 4 and 5 and toss them in randomly throughout the battle.

Although IOI was a transnational corporation, it had to confront every lover of the 80s and every detractor of IOI (basically, any conscientious defender of freedom of expression). In short, although IOI was a fearsome force that controlled entire countries economically, it had to face ENTIRE GENERATIONS of Oasis lovers.

Really wish they had poured the whole budget into this scene, let’s be fair we only wanted to see the Iron Giant drop kick Imperial AT-STs while a squad of UNSC Spartans and Marines destroy a squad of Modern Warfare Russians while being covered by 40k Space Marines providing Air Support.
There's multiple franchises with giant mechs and none made it into this battle. I'd love to have seen some Battlemechs clunky around in the background filling the spaces of those generic mechs they added.

I think it wouldve been cooler if they added spaceships bombarding the shield too. Like just imagine, the Battlestar Galactica, the Star Trek Enterprise, and other famous ships just hovering above the shield and just pelting the shield with ordinance while the players assaulted the shield from the ground. But from a movie standpoint that wouldve been too easy cause they fleets could just hover above the place and shoot it to pieces, so I get why they didnt add spaceships when the players assaulted the keep.
Also do consider how close the battle was proximity wise to both sides. The ground war turned into a giant melee, that's the last place u want to try to be throwing around ordnance in since ur very likely to end up wiping out large amounts of friendlies unintentionally
I wouldn't consider it being easy and more of a copyright and budget issue, god knows how much money went into licencing all the IP's just to use like Spartans or Tracer in the movie.
