- Misfiring System Turbo upgrade is now available in the latest Series 19 update that will make Sudo Kyoichi happy. Lots of pops, flames and bangs!
While it is slightly better than the race turbo upgrade, the race turbo upgrade itself isn't efficient for the car or most turbocharged cars in general (A-Class) due to how long it takes to reach peak boost. The upgrade is mainly for entertainment and fun purposes.
Tune not shared as the camshaft upgrade route is better and much faster.

Misfiring System.
Edit: For those who are asking the tune, this misfiring system tune is 1.5 sec slower than the camshaft tune which is more efficient hence it is not worth.

Yes, they just need to put more turbo sounds and improve the volume of the cars, because there are cars like a pagani zonda cinque that in my opinion should sound louder

Problem is people tend to disappear still in free roam even in convoys.

Lower the other volumes of the other stuff and keep the car engine sounds up and it might help. It worked for me

I didn’t know about this update until this video. And my favorite car to use recently is the 2021 Porsche GT3 (992). And it had the anti-lag option and I just got a stupid big grin when I heard the mishfiren shistemu. I can’t believe they actually added this.
Wish they changed up the flames to be a bit more realistic and to be more randomized. Different sized flames, different variations, would've been nice. FH2 style flames were the best.
Hope to see this carried over to the next Forza, just with new backfire more akin to Gran Turismo.

If you release the throttle then you ll get instand backfire all the time? How annoying over time xD I still don't understand why they didn't implement a 3, 2 ,1 timer before the race started. If that were so, launch control would make sense.
LC does work in races. Just hold the the throttle down is you have LC turned. Its activates automatically when you go into a race. You should've gotten a mssg about in you 'NEWS" tab in game.

The flames and new sounds are goated, but not enough attention is being paid to the performance difference. You can clearly feel the car being pulled more consistently with the turbo vs before. Really hope this diversifies class metas. Even if not... This is fucking sick

What I wish they did is that there's an option to buy only the anti-lag but keep the stock turbo as well as the option to buy the lower tier turbo upgrades with the anti-lag instead of just having it available only for the race turbo.

Here's the decision to make, GT7 antilag or FH5 antilag? Idk why but I stand on both. I like how GT7 antilag is more towards realism with actually decent looking flames but I like how FH5 antilag feels over the top and constantly shoots flames if on partial or off throttle. Felt like it's the only thing I missed from GT7.
Both games don't even do antilag properly and it's doesn't coincide with the physics so it's just sound overlay at certain RPM. There's games that do better out there with the realism factor

That do you mean? You can add anti-lag every car with a turbo, but it is not nessesary - you still can upgrade turbo without anti-lag.

They fukced up the update in steam version. I downloaded a 15gb update but still the version is the older one and there is no new content, no launch control, no anti lag, no widebody kits

In simulation damage mode they should make you pay for a new turbo every 3 races
On a championship series it should have at least a 50% chance to blow up. What's the point of simulation if we can't have blown engines and flat tires?
