I liked many singers over the years, and liked their songs, but never really paid attention to the orchestration or even the background singers. The arrangements are fantastic, and I wouldn't change anything about him.
I have had Engelbert in my life since I was 15 . His songs have taken me thru good times and sad times ! The best as far as I can say ! It’s the words and his way of getting these songs thru to all of us !❤
Wow, just listening to his voice touches my heart deeply. When I hear any kind of song, just one word and I recognize that it is Enge. His voice is so unique, his way of singing all his songs, deep from his heart and soul. One cannot help but be touched by everything he sings. Yes, there are lots of singers out there, but Enge’s way of delivering a song is just superb. There is no other like him! I pray that God will continue to bless him with good health, so we can enjoy listening to him for a long time yet. He will never ever be forgotten . His music will live forever.
