Don't get frustrated. If your roses are young (under three years), they need time to build resistance. I would like to hear more about what varieties you are growing. Are you on our FB group? If so, that is a great place to share with me and the other geeks.
@@TheRoseGeek plum perfect, gold medal, flourintina, crazy love, cathedral bell, princess Charlene & 2 unknown seem to be “ok” All the others have been stripped down to canes. BS came in months early for me & spread like wildfire 😩 nothing helped to combat it this year. They are slowly bouncing back
That spot where you put the Garden How many hours of light does that get. I found that Melliand HT's need a lot of sunlight to perform. I cant give them that. I dont dislike them. I just want stuff that performs better in my environment. Starting to rearrange chairs in a small space.
@@TheRoseGeek Yes. I got one last season when I won one of the gift certificates. Shes still small, healthy, flowers a lot. Summer romance hates me. Raspberry cupcake is a rockstar. Plum Perfect is pretty, but gets rose rust after every flush. All your plants a huge. 2-3X bigger than anything that grows Not a bad thing cause I only have 300sq ft of space.
its my only rose this year out of several that I never got blooms from, the buds on both plants were brown and wondering if thats a bug eating it while small? new to rosess
I wonder if it was thrip damage. When you see the buds with a fungus/disease, the best thing to do is to pluck the blooms off. See if the next flush of blooms is better. Tammy, are you a part of Facebook? If so, please consider joining "Rose Geeks". I am sad that I took 2 months to respond to this and I know if you posted on the FB page, the geeks there would respond super quick. Thank you for being a part of Rose Geeks!
Thanks for the recommendations Kimberly. I am getting so frustrated with black spot ---this season is especially bad. Your roses are so gorgeous!

I love PCDM. Thank you for watching Yvonne.
❤❤❤so pretty 😊 n peachy.
YES! I love the frilly petals and color!
@@TheRoseGeek ...l am happy that u found a way to avoid the fuss over BS :)
I am still struggling with Spidermites :( round 4 now.
Same zone, mine does have BS but not as bad as the other roses💐 she blooms a lot & is very beautiful!
I would love to hear more about which roses are BS free for you so that I can learn more about what works for others.

My PCDM get full sun 7+ hours. Have you tried Kordes roses? My favorite is Bliss. She blooms in less than full sun.

I love Princesse Charlene so much that I have 2. I have limited space.
You can never have too many PCDM.

Thank you for watching Lidia.
Mine is not blackspot resistant unfortunately 😔
Oh no! Is it 3+ years old. Hopefully it will grow out of it.
