Hi, loving your channel! We are having a church wedding starting at 1pm, 15 mins away from the venue, please help us with the timings!!! Struggling a little! Thank you so much!
what about if you only get 5 hrs at the venue for all of it? according to this timeline my wedding would have to end after speeches.
Thank you for a great subject for the video.
Would be great if you could write down the timeline in the video.
Hearing numbers is very different from reading numbers.
Hi, great video! really helpful!! I have a couple of questions:
When would family photos normally be done? Within the drinks reception?
What order do you recommend for speeches?
What order of dances (MOTG dance, FOTB dance and couple dance etc)?
I find your videos really helpful with planning our wedding in May🎉
Love your videos, there aren’t many UK wedding planning videos, as customs seem to differ quite a lot between UK and US weddings! (UK bride getting married here next year)
Based on the timeline proposed here, what time would you put on the invites for guests who are just invited to the evening reception? Would it be the time designated for the turnaround, so guests are all (hopefully) present for the cake cutting and first dance?
I would say 7.30 to account for any over running of timings. But that’s based off of the timings in the video ☺️😘😘
@@BluebirdBrideAcademy Makes sense, thanks for replying! 💖
Would love a video on if yuo have any tips for alcohol free weddings
Hiya How would you advise having a ceremony at 2pm then drinks reception at a local park then wedding reception at sports and social club. All venues are less than 10mins away from one another, We plan on hiring a double decker bus to transport everyone including us. We plan on having entertainment during the drinks reception we only having a small wedding less than 50 people. We decided on having a park as our reception venue doesn't have a good area for group shoots or for us to have a photoshoot. We are planning on having my partners band, a dj , live painter and photobooth. Advice shoud i hire a master of ceremonies
Getting ready at a hotel, then travel to church for a 1pm ceremony. Then travel to reception venue. Please please help, this is the bit I’m struggling with so much! 65day guests, more for the evening
When do we tell the evening guests to arrive? We don’t want them arriving too soon, but I also don’t want them to think ‘it’s only for 5 hours, I won’t even bother going’
We're getting married at our local registry office and the rest of our day is at a hotel that is directly opposite, so everyone has Just gotta cross the road however while our guests are making their way to the drinks reception we are taking 45 minutes to visit my partners mom's grave as it isn't far from our location and then we're going on to our drinks reception/photos and then the rest of the day as standard really xx
Thank you for this video, very helpful. I’m getting married at church and will have some kind of refreshments at church before going to the reception. The reception is about a 25 min drive, what would you suggest for my timelines for the day? Thinking of having the ceremony earlier to allow more time. Thank you!
I don't expect Lauren 👸🏼 herself to answer comments in detail, but perhaps some of you fellow brides and grooms can advise on my *approximate* timeline?
9:00 breakfast
9:30 hair and makeup
11:30 Uber to venue
--
12:00 arrival at venue, coffee served
12:30 registrar interviews
13:00 ceremony
13:45 confetti shot outside
14:00 pictures with everyone
14:45 cocktail hour (couple's portraits)
16:00 guests go to seats
--
16:30 starters served
17:00 speeches
18:00 mains served
19:00 room switch (tables to dancefloor)
--
19:30 first dance
19:35 party 🎉💃🍾
20:30 cake cutting
21:30 snacks served
22:45 grand exit
23:00 THE END

For context, everything is local in West London, we have around 40 guests and 40 evening guests. Budget is around £6k. 👰🏻♀️🤵🏻♂️💒
Very useful tips! When I spoke to my venue about the dinner plans, they were very happy that I planned 30min for seating and 2 hours to eat starters and mains (for 40 people). Apparently most people make that mistake of underestimating this part! Thank you for making it so clear. 💝
