i think you could ditch the umbrella for the benton mackaye. I have the gossamer gear umbrella+the umbrella holder on the g4-20, and it's much better for sun than rain. In the forest it gets in the way, in the desert it's perfect. Your experience may be different. Most people keep the inreach mini on the shoulder strap to make it more accessible during an emergency.
The umbrella enhances campsite experiences such as cooking, eating, and pooping in the rain. I generally try to avoid engaging in such activities in my tent.
Can you access your inReach without taking off your pack? I also carry the Gore-Tex mitts and Montbell wind pants. Both are clutch! Love the bungee add-ons. I never seem to have enough.
