This song gives me goosebumps. The story of this song is for the fall of Berlin wall and the reunification of West Berlin and East Berlin. A night to remember.
I was there and the feeling of hope was crazy. we were raised to believe we would die in a mushroom cloud one day and then just like that it was over and we would all make it. Now look where we are again. what a waste.
Each time hearing this song, takes me back to watching the live events happening on the tv as the German took hammers or whatever to start breaking down the Berlin Wall. It brings tears to my eyes. On your free time, please watch the official music video.
We love the scorpions. Klaus Meine has an amazing voice. Like many bands they have a love ballad titled Send Me An Angel. My husband and I had a non traditional wedding with lots of loud rock, soul and pop with a bit of country. We exchanged vows outdoors after I walked up to a trellis of beautiful flowers 🌺🌹 to this song. It was the only thing my man wanted in the whole wedding. We've been married almost 30 years.
What a Beautiful rendition a Beautiful Song ... Scorpions is one of the best bands to ever play Rock Music and also Play Ballads, plus they are amazing live. Great Job Krizz...✌🏼❤️🙏🏽🎤🎶🎶
The official video is so important Modern music lacks knowledge to make great Historical references to educate = Fall of the Berlin Wall Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil (lyrical video) = All blame misdeeds on the devil.
Love this song... I was a freshman in high school when their album "Crazy World" came out in 1990. It's about the fall of the Berlin Wall and of Socialism in Eastern Europe. Being Germans, the Scorpions were thrilled that the wall came down. People in respective halfs of Berlin hadn't seen each other in decades. Klaus Meine has an incredible voice, even now in his 70s!
#KrizzKaliko the original video gives context and a much more powerful experience to the song as this is performed originally after the fall of the Berlin wall and the ending of the Soviet Union. This rendition is obviously 30 years older than the original and yes, very beautiful. Scorpions is a rock band. Rock You Like a Hurricane was one of their songs of many, but this particular song was a rock ballad. I highly recommend looking at the original video and you will understand it much deeper in your spirit. Thank you for all you do getting closer to the classics. Much respect from a great grandma in Alaska.
Krizz, the slow, orchestral tempo makes sense when you can also see the video that goes with the song - the story of the cold war conflict and the fall of The Berlin Wall unfold in time with the words of the song... you should check out the official video version of this when you get a few minutes.....
What hope we had when this song came out, around the end of The Cold War, it makes me sad to see that we humans don’t change 😢 Please react to them and Still Loving You one of my favourites
Not bad. I do prefer the original as I can hear him better with more whistling with guitar solo cut for orchestra. Also the historical visuals in the video are worthwhile.
I was stationed in Germany when the wall fell... wasn't in Berlin at that moment but watched on the American TV station at the time. Never seen this performance. I am and have always been a fan of rock with an orchestra... there's such an incredible sound texture with rock instruments and vocals contrasting with classical orchestral instruments playing a rock song. There's something about an orchestra's swelling sounds that just adds to the feel, elevates the song. I have to be honest, at that time, late 80s early 90s, I didn't appreciate bands like Scorpion, Metallica, DIO, and the like until much later even though I liked certain songs. Back then the sound made me nervous, couldn't listen to a whole album of the same sound...can't explain why, even though these bands were a huge staple among the soldiers and heard them everywhere, all the time. Go figure, especially since I started out liking Black Sabbath back in the 70s. In those years, late 80s-90s, I was gravitating to U2, Depeche Mode, White Snake, Enigma to name a few. Finally took my daughter and her girlfriend to a Monsters of Rock concert in Mannheim because of DIO and Poison, for me, it was White Snake. Couldn't leave Germany without at least one of those concerts under our belt, to make up for not letting her go to Metallica's concert in Russia that she reminded of for years. I finally watched a TH-cam video of one of their songs from that concert a few years ago....and understand her frustration...akin to when my dad wouldn't let me go to Woodstock when I was her age. Anyway, thanks for checking them out. This song has such a significance of that time as noted in the comments here. He is one the the best and most precise whistlers I've ever heard.
I love this song! Brings back so much! It just hits different even during the time it came out! I had always been the type of person who buys an album and my favorites end up being the least popular lol! It's about a feeling for me and if I feel it I'm in 💯 !! Your music sir is the REASON I got deeper into rap! Not only did you sign hats your time and kindness but I very much deep what you say and the way you say it!! Thank you! BIG UP YOU LEGEND NEVER CHANGE!!!! BIG RESPECT TO YOU N YOURS!
Nobody reacts to "No One Like You" by the Scorpions. It is easily one of their best. From intro to outro it's a fukn banger. Literally the first 5 seconds you are hooked right in all the way to the end
This is a great song. Check out original. As for rockets, they do that.... No One Like You. The Zoo. Blackout. Rock You Like a Hurricane. And many others. I will say they are the best rock ballad band I've heard. Still Loving You. Send Me an Angel. Always Somewhere. Holiday. When the Smoke is Going Down. A great instrumental...Coast to Coast. Couple more Love at first Sting and Loving you Sunday Morning. 🙂
Rock you like a huuricane is the Scorps you're correct. This is more of a ballad to begin with the strings seal the deal. These guys been going since 1965 so there's no shortage of heavier songs. I would recommend Lovedrive, Is there Anybody There, Loving you Sunday Morning ,Falling in love, No one like you, Arizona, Cant live Without You. Did I mention they've been going since 65 lol I'll stop here.
They have a lot of soft songs basically ballads and a lot of hard rocking songs Rock You like a hurricane but the imagery to this on the original video is very strong because I used to be in East and West Germany I don't know if you knew that or not you probably did but you know some people don't know that because it's so long ago but if you like this song send me an Angel holiday still Loving You right off the top of my head are good ballads
(Sorry - off topic) You don't seem to have done much of Ren. Perhaps you'd like Ren X Chinchilla's ''Chalk Outlines'' or Ren's ''Animal Flow''. So many to choose from. You don't seem to have found Amy Winehouse. That would be a real treat for you. Annie Lennox / Eurythmics? You could dive into Playing For Change | Song Around The World. One of my favorite ones is Get Up Stand Up with Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones. It's the beauty of people from around the world (and their instruments) coming together in song.
I really dont understand how anyone can compete Rap to Rock, very different lyrics and in rock they play their own instruments, both are ok, but Like Country and rock the lyrics tell stories
This has nothing to do with what you just watched, there's a country artist that has not been mentioned, it saddens me do to his passing in 2020, it's Joe Diffie, and the song is (Ships That Don't Come In) I feel that this song still has a lot of value to this day, would love to see your reaction to it, no one that I have conented on other reactions channels have watched it, you would be the first if you do

The Zoo is my favorite. I love Klause Meine's vocals, one of my top favorites.
The Zoo is also wicked!
Reactors never do "No one like you" or "The Zoo"
What is wrong with these people!? Hahaha
@@AnEyeRacky Lmbo true...They really don't know what they are missing.
The official video is so important
Modern music lacks knowledge to make great Historical references to educate = Fall of the Berlin Wall
Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil (lyrical video) = All blame misdeeds on the devil.
One the Best sounding live Band's ever just like the album
100 true. Clean, clean, clean
Yes. Rock You Like a Hurricane is Scorpions

You should watch the original video, with footage from the Berlin Wall coming down

I have heard this song a million times and this version made me more amazed!
Awe,Klaus,you're just so awesome.
One of the greatest rock vocalists ever.

You should react to Slaughter to Prevails song Viking. Also cattle décapitation prophets of loss. Both are a good time.

Didn’t care for the arrangement or perhaps the mix. With his vocal ability he didn’t need all the extra as it took away from his performance.
You should had reacted to the official video to understand what this song is all about. The falling of the Berlin wall.
