- The Combi Pool at the Vans Skatepark in Orange, California has paid homage as a replica of the original from Pipeline Skatepark for over 20 years. The legendary Vans Pool Party made it's final hoorah at the Combi in 2025, bringing together generations of skateboarders that have been there since the beginning to first-time competitors.
Familiar with Combi bowl since he was a grom, Cory Juneau steps back to the hallowed coping for the first time in years alongside his peers and heroes alike. “Everyone is ripping a lot of old faces, old friends. Picking up where they left off. Nobody has skated it in five and it's like nostalgic.” Cory takes us through his experience from the past two months in First Person as he rekindles old and new lines, pushes through unexpected physical pain, and feeds off the raw energy that only a place like Combi can bring on finals day. #platfrm

seeing Cory for the first time shredding Hastings bowl in Vancouver for the VPS in 2015 was so rad, and then to see him there again the next 3 yrs, further developing his style & placing well, then blowing up on ig, olympic silver, and this! Cory rules
I had never heard of Cory until he came to Des Moines for the Dew Tour. I was watching a few other pros practicing in the big bowl, then saw him drop in and flow around, just getting warmed up and feeling the bowl out. A short while later I watched him pop 2-3’ over the 10+’ pool coping and land into a bs noseblunt stall. He missed the first few then landed one. Mind blown. He is an incredibly sweet person and ridiculously talented.
I’m sad to know the vans bowl will cease to exist, but I’m grateful for all of the content that’s been put out to commemorate the legendary spot.
Watch skate in person is mind blowing!
Cory Juneau WOW !!!
CORYY!!! 🙌🏼
Such a great skater, love his style and laid back demeanor. Keep ripping!
That sleepy turtle style 🔥
Class Act Big Fan of Cory !
i really am gonna miss this place and skating with everyone
Huge fan, thank you for this! Cory rips.
Glad you enjoyed it!
1. It's not just his style: he's got the most tasteful trick selection. He doesn't go for easy points with multiple boring 540's. Most airs are hands free. The liptricks are long and only done the hard way.
2. How is this guy still AM for flip? He should have been pro a decade ago on creature. It's so insulting that flip is still giving pro model to Aarto and Bob but pretend Cory's not way more productive and influential. Him and Jimmy Wilkins are the leaders of the new wave. He should've gone to birdhouse, they'd respect him more.
Totally agree those frontside rock and roll slides alone are just mind blowing.
You know, Cory You know!
Amazing verticalist. His pivots never get old. They re so hot. Like dag son
🔥

Sleepy Turtle! 🐢

If John Lennon were still alive, I believe he'd rewrite "Working Class Hero" to describe Cory Juneau. That's what I think of when I see cats like Cory, Greyson Fletcher, hell Tom Schaar even. Hope I spelled Tom's last name correctly. But Tom is, or was anyway, infamous for using one set up for multiple events where everyone else has a street setup, a very setup, mega, etc.. And I like to think it's 50% raw talent at being so adaptable and 50% just being on that budget. The same budget most of us are on. A budget that rarely budges. But then again, I might just be a smidge stoned.🤙🤙
Drop a part Juneau
dude looks like he drank himself into his 40s already
