Hey Knao! I am offered a place for IB1 at the UWC Dover campus. I'm pretty happy about it but I still have many options. I wonder if it is possible for me to chat with people you know who studied at the UWC Dover campus so I can have a better idea. Thanks!
I’m hoping to go to a UWC but I’m kind of a picky eater, can any current students or alumni tell me if there is anything plain-ish to eat? I am getting better but I am just wondering?
hey, may I ask you a question? I’m a native speaker of russian (I’m not russian tho) and I really love the campus and Dilijan overall. But what scares me is the amount of russian here as I would like to dive into international community and not the one I am absolutely familiar with. So how many russians approximately are here?
@@annemmie Hey! I am no longer at the school as I graduated last year so I can't give you an exact number, however even though the Russian Community is quite large compared to other nationalities, there are still more than enough other people from other countries and cultures so you can 100% immerse yourself into an international setting! At the end of the day its down to you and who you decide to be friends with s don't worry!
yep that makes complete sense haha Each UWC definitely has a focus, whether that's written on their own college mission or not. For example, ISAK (college in Japan) that I went to, has a focus on leadership and entrepreneurship or the UWC Singapore colleges are leaning a bit more towards academics (as mentioned in these videos!). I think depending on these 'focuses', your experience can vary but at the same time, I feel the focuses are not that emphasized as you may think! To be honest I'm not entirely aware of all the focuses of each colleges but I'm sure you can find them on each website!
Good i really support you but i really want to ask you about uwc ..and my question is where is the best collages in uwc plz reply me and i want it for astronaut/space learn/
Thanks for the support! To be honest, I don't know the other UWCs enough to be able to say a college that has a specific focus on astronomy, also because UWC is only high school after-all. With that being said however, I recommend you check the IB courses that each college offers from their individual website! Which college would fit you would also depend on what age you are right now and how you would apply. If you are not applying directly, there is a big chance that you won't be able to really select the UWC you want to go because it will be selected instead by your national committee. However, also keep in mind that even if there isn't a college that has the specific astronomy class, there will be so many opportunities for you to look into it (like interviewing someone in that field or starting a project about it:)) Good luck and all the best!
THIS IS SUCHH A GOOD VIDDD like most new information I've heard about uwc in 10 minutes ever this is so useful
