I'd always worked out at home, except for in undergrad when I would use a gym on campus. When I joined Planet Fitness some years back, I went like twice in one year, so I canceled the membership. Then I joined Life Time for 10x the price because I wanted more variety in my workout options, classes, a pool, and sauna. I went there multiple times a week until COVID-19 hit. So I learned that the greater investment was worth it with Life Time because I was way more motivated to go there than to go to Planet Fitness for $10/month.
Not me listening to you on the stair-master at gym 😭 I’m sorry but imma listen to this podcast 24/7 at home, work, gym, when I’m getting ready in the mrn or when I want something sooting to sleep to until I can have encouraging conversations with the negative voices in my head.
I loved this conversation! Investing in one’s appearance is actually so important for your mental health. I have found this to be true in my own life. Thank you for this episode 👏🏾🤍
Interesting that we didn’t touch on financial investments. I think this focused mostly on external things-looks & appearances. But there are tangible investments that can be explore to better position yourself regardless of financial status.

I am not saying this to discount the content of the episode, perhaps we need a part 2

it's a little tricky with our production process because we record the episodes long before the ads. doing our best!
