You can try to calculate the size of the paper you are using and the size you wanted your output to become. Like if you want you output to be 17"x22", you should use a paper size of 8.5x11 and set your printer option as 2x2. 8.5*2= 17 11*2= 22 Outcome= 17"x22"

Make sure ur print settings are correct size for the paper ur printing on. Printer settings are usually an option along side the others, up at the top of the page or you can of course, just right click the print option to access the settings. Once there, choose ur paper size, standard size for US paper to print on is size A4 (8¼" x 11¾") or choose option fit to original size(or might say fit to scale), as well as if your image should be in portrait or landscape. These options can sometimes not correlate with what you want to be printing so adjust accordingly. If that doesn't work, then you may even have to adjust these parameters(height × width) manually to have ur image properly printed to what you want. So essentially just make sure ur printers settings are matched with what Microsoft Word has ur image scaled to. Hope this helps havent messed with a PC in quite a while so my terminology may be wrong but im pretty confident there is a solution to the problem ur having.. ✌️
How big is the margin at the edge of the page? One inch? I'm not sure if I'll actually do it, but I'm considering making a life size print of a character who is six and a half feet tall, and I'd like to make the proper calculations for how large each tile would be after printing and if it would be better to print him using landscape or portrait tiles
@@litta31 If you resize the image fully unto your layout, the outcome might be bigger as what she wanted it to be, like 20x30". You need to calculate the size of the image into the outcome you want.
I tried to print it out then took me back to the editing section and then I have the windows 11 and it’s no so easy I had to put the specific size 4x4 to do it anybody please comment what’s going on

1.Set your paper size into 8.5"x13" 2. Next, insert and crop your image with a ratio of 3:4. 3. Enlarge your image to cover the whole page of the paper. 4. Print properties: select 2x2 poster and print. Hope this will help.

Yes, you can make bigger than 4x4 but not in Word. You can use excel. I haveuploaded avideos for excel on how to do it. Check it out.

You can set/adjust your"MARK" located at the printer properties to save yourself from cutting and maximize your paper.

It means 4 pieces of paper across.. And 4 pieces of paper downward. That's how it is.
