The sages don't believe in him either, they just used his return as propaganda to get the desert folks to stop believing in the dendro archon and believe that she's the enemy. They also get to use the desert folks' undoubted belief as a way to collect the resources they need to make Scara a newly born god. The sages believe in A god of wisdom, not THE god of Wisdom. Ill Dottore promised a god of wisdom, probably one that can rival or surpass Rukkhadevata and Deshret's wisdom, which is what the sages want -and they get to "control" the god. (Which um... sure. As if the fatui would ever let them. 😒)
To be honest, that is also one of the reasons she is considered an immature god, because she cares too much for her people. Venti prioritised the freedom of his people and coming in to help them whenever something goes wrong will not help them be independent, he only steps in when things get pretty bad Zhongli also takes a more hands off approach to his people and let's them take care of themselves, it also helps that his people worship him immensely and he has the Adeptus protecting the country. Ei is a special case, she isn't really leader material and she knew this. That was why Makoto was the acting Archon until she passed. Ei has the mentality of a warrior and is also pretty immature all things considered. To her, the protecting her life is more important than anything else and she does experiences emotion slightly differently. When humans suffer grief and such, most of us will slowly learn to accept and move on with our lives, Ei experiences things differently and she will suffer that grief for generations. This kinda causes her to implement her decrees, the sakoku decree was implemented because things like the Watatsumi invasion and Makoto leaving to kheanrhiyah was ultimately because of outside forces so she wanted seclusion. The vision decree was because only people that have a strong ambition/wish will be able to acquire a vision and these kinds of people are always the leaders of change so she tries to cut them of before things go out of control. For Nahida, she herself understands she isn't strong enough to protect her people so she tries her best to decipher the world tree. The way she treasures her people is honestly very similar to the other archons but they don't see their people as individuals but rather as a community. Nahida on the other interacts with individuals and tries her best for them like Dunyarzad so she grows attached to them as individuals. This difference is the key to how they treat their people imo. To the other 3, apart from certain infulencial people, they see their people as "The people of my country" but Nahida sees them as individuals with a name. That is why they specifically chose Dunyarzad with an NPC model to be the main focus of previous archon quest. At least these are just my opinions

Correct me if I'm wrong but I can't help to think of the fact that when traveler's consciousness was in nahida's she looks like she's in her gnosis?? And that's how he was able to connect to scaramouche cause he was using the electro gnosis. Now I do know, the gnosis is something that connects you with celestia but I'm not sure whether it can be connected between archons.....
So basically she didn’t have her gnosis but she has the ability to transfer her consciousness to people who wears the Akasha terminal but the traveller only turned it off and Nahida manage to get his Akasha terminal running again but only a short period of time and the sages putted Nahida in a place that she cannot get out or its her resting chamber and the Traveller manage to see what was near or manage to notice a another Gnosis that is near or on their lands.
Ths, rukhadevata sacrifoce herself. Losing power, and becoming baby nahida. And cause its rukhadevata all along, thats why sages found her with Gnosis. Sage think Rukhadevata die and nahida is newborn god. Just like guoba who lost even to speak, nahida also lost her wisdom, thus sage confict her, cause they dont think nahida capable as god of wisdom. Regarding how they conected, scara and nahida(traveler) i think its how Godly being interconected to leylines(irminsul) cause now scara want tp become one
Feels like Scara will be overwhelmed by the Gnosis once it merges with him which was one of the reason Ei did not continue with the project of him becoming her puppet.

Well as in the Teyvat trailer stated The god of wisdom's enemy is wisdom itself The Akademiya abandon and imprison Nahida and trying to create a new god just because she doesn't have enough wisdom, power to guide them as she did when she was Rukkhadevata To be honest, she sacrifices everything to save the nation and gets this kind of treatment coming from those people she protected (not all Sumeru people but those Akademiya). This is just so sad :'(
Yeah I’m just really angry with the sages. I really want to make a list of all of their wrongdoings and upload a video of them on TH-cam. Nahida deserves more.

Scaramouches story actually made me sad cause ei never intended to let him end up this way, but because he shed tears at his own creation, so ei thought he isn't suited to be her puppet and chose to seal the power within it and let him wander and live as an ordinary inazuman, to her, that life probably suited him better because being ei's puppet would mean he would need to kill a lot of people. But even after that life was no good for him unfortunately and because of how fragile his heart was, he sees ei's choice, that family and friend scared of him after finding out his origins(since everyone in inazuma is scared of ei) and his best friends death as a betrayal too. Like mother like son ig, ei was like that too, it's the whole reason why she locked herself up for many many years :') Edit: SPOILER Looking at all the leaks of scaramouche becoming a nice kid later on, I hope he and kazuha become best friends :'D cause in a way their past do relate to each other, except kazuha moved on, and scaramouche haven't. So maybe if they are good friends, kazuha could really become his mental support and he won't need to worry about his friend dying again, because kazuha is strong enough to take care of himself :D 👍
I‘m glad you brought up Ei‘s side of the story, because a lot of people are really quick to jump on the bandwagon that Ei gave him the worst outcome, when she gave him the most „merciful“ she could give. Following Ei‘s orders would have devastating results for someone who stills sheds tears and has a soft soul. And we saw how extremely cruel the Shogun Puppet is, Scara wouldn‘t really survive that. So Ei letting him go on his own terms is the most she could do for him, as she herself was still processing the trauma of her friends and sister at that time. With that being said of course, she isn‘t exempt from the suffering she caused for others. It‘s a mess of a cycle. If people desperately need Scaramouche „angst“ for their fics, then look no further than Yae lol. She‘s the one who wanted to destroy Scaramouche (and Ei stopped her), according to Yae‘d voicelines about Kunikuzushi.

I kinda hate what the sages are doing I mean they could've just cultivate Kusanali Did they not know that she's the Greater Lord? And also spoiler At the end of the Archon quest We found out that Rhukkadevata shrunk in size, so basically that's Nahida's origin. How come they've ignored the fact that, that's still their god. They treated her like an item like just a storage of knowledge only valuing her knowledge.
Maybe to them she is a powerless/useless god, some god that just happened to take after the previous god position, so they are all disrespectful to her, but either way this is really cruel and they are really annoying for that
They were expecting too much from a new born god~ Like, how is she supposed to show wisdom when she just woke up~ Wisdom comes with age and the Nahida we see 500 years later, exudes wisdom from every pore~ They never gave her a chance and the fact that Nahida has a lack of understanding of certain topics is mainly due to her being locked away for 500 years. If Sumeru falls because their Archon is weak then that's all their fault~
I mean it's repeatedly shown that humans are corrupt when they no longer fear of divine reprisal: The nobles of Mondstadt turn the country into a slave state until Venti woke up. Inazuma had the commissions take advantage of their gods absence to impose isolationist policies and neutralize vision users. It's only Liyue, where their gods are active and anybody who is corrupt will face 'The Wrath of the Rock' that things are in okay shape.

As a lore player, my predictions where 80% correct based on the letters and books in-game and the archon quest. Even scara being turned into a new god was accurate base on the clues I’ve taken from inazuma quest. Nahida also being the same god of the first dendro archon was almost correct just by hypothetizing about the sumeru quest but I didn’t expect dottore to be the one behind all this. Next up…time to predict Fontaine? Maybe? There’s not much clue yet but I’m thinking that the captain may appear in Fontaine? But that’s still a long way to go

They will sacrifice scara to make the prototype of it. the end of the scarlet king's civilization was thousands of years ago, nahida is 500 years old. while there's a huge possibility nahida is like a "seed" of rukkhadevata, she was born during the cataclysm, after rukkhadevata's death.
The thing is there are two gnosis in sumeru..one is powering up the mecha...and other one is powering up akasha system...I wont be surprised if dottore ends up taking both of em to snehznaya...

Back when the Fatui found him, besides undoing his mom's seal, they made modifications, which I suspect include ones that can let him handle the gnosis

So maybe if they are good friends, kazuha could really become his mental support and he won't need to worry about his friend dying again, because kazuha is strong enough to take care of himself :D 👍
I‘m glad you brought up Ei‘s side of the story, because a lot of people are really quick to jump on the bandwagon that Ei gave him the worst outcome, when she gave him the most „merciful“ she could give. Following Ei‘s orders would have devastating results for someone who stills sheds tears and has a soft soul. And we saw how extremely cruel the Shogun Puppet is, Scara wouldn‘t really survive that. So Ei letting him go on his own terms is the most she could do for him, as she herself was still processing the trauma of her friends and sister at that time. With that being said of course, she isn‘t exempt from the suffering she caused for others. It‘s a mess of a cycle.

Scaramouche was essentially a child who got thrown away. It definitely was not merciful or smart on Ei’s part; she is irresponsible and constantly makes terrible decisions just because it’s what she selfishly wants/what she thinks is the best choice (it never is). Ei is a tyrant; she let what are essentially murder dolls with their own conscious run around so she can escape responsibility. I hate the idea that people can just forgive Ei bc “shes trying to be better” despite her causing a lot of deaths, a plague running rampant in tartarasuna AND ruining vision holders’ psyche. And Yae Miko is just as bad.

We found out that Rhukkadevata shrunk in size, so basically that's Nahida's origin. How come they've ignored the fact that, that's still their god. They treated her like an item like just a storage of knowledge only valuing her knowledge.
Maybe to them she is a powerless/useless god, some god that just happened to take after the previous god position, so they are all disrespectful to her, but either way this is really cruel and they are really annoying for that

As a lore player, my predictions where 80% correct based on the letters and books in-game and the archon quest. Even scara being turned into a new god was accurate base on the clues I’ve taken from inazuma quest. Nahida also being the same god of the first dendro archon was almost correct just by hypothetizing about the sumeru quest but I didn’t expect dottore to be the one behind all this. Next up…time to predict Fontaine? Maybe? There’s not much clue yet but I’m thinking that the captain may appear in Fontaine? But that’s still a long way to go
