    I watched your video where you explain how you got into the embroidery business and to see you go from starting at the flea market to this whole incredible setup with all these intense machines, is beyond! You really took the idea and made it your own and have dedicated yourself to building this craft. It’s amazing. God bless you and your business!

    • @lsswapeverything2518
      @lsswapeverything2518 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is simple, people are scared about start up prices it seems though. Easiest thing to do about that is buy a cheap machine, even if it has just one head you can get them for under $500. Work with build up your eCommerce account. Invest all profits back into the business. If your committed you should have that machine payed off in under a month or a little longer. You really want to make sure you're prepared before making that purchase though. As in having designs made up familiarizing yourself with the programs, learning a little SEO, and finding a good supplier. This will ensure once you buy that machine you can get right to work. Invest ALL money from sales back into the business, don't pay yourself or anything. You want the business to grow, once it's grown you naturally grow. Once you get the funds and the orders coming in you can evaluate getting an industrial machine.
      The part were people who did make that investment fail is when they aren't becoming wealthy over night. First thing it should be something you love doing, not a "cash cow". The first few months or even the first year(s) you might be making less then minimum wage. So don't have it be your main job, think of it as a hobby while it's growing. After your first 500-1000 orders many think that they should be "rich" at this point. Sometimes you are but most time you're not because you should be investing back into the business. It is an odd feeling looking over your gross sales and it not correlating with your bank balance but you're a hell of a lot further then when you started.

    Thanks for showing some of the Melco set up steps. I’m considering a Melco and am trying to learn as much as possible so I have intelligent questions when I talk to Todd 😀. Love seeing that you have pairs of scissors EVERYWHERE! Me too! BTW one thing I like about the Melco is that the thread spools are where you can get to them when needed.

      @@AngelaJasmina Pretty much everything but I just began Etsy a year ago with Patriotic graphic designs and Christmas. Then tried other designs like tattoo art, cancer awareness, birthday, school reunions, etc. It usually depends on what suggestions or requests I get and how I am feeling any giving day :) I don't know if I can post here my website or portfolio but the name is Glumie dot com slash portfolio and the shop at Etsy is Tainaso. I saw your designs they are very nice and I am in love with your embroidery factory. It's impressive.

    • @JenniferGoodTGL
      @JenniferGoodTGL 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Rashi Parab - Most of them I buy from Etsy. A few I’ve made myself using a 30 day trial embroidery software. I make mostly patches right now since I’m still starting out but I want to branch out and make my own designs and have people come to me with their own material to embroider. I need to buy the software first which is pricey but will be worth it so I’m saving up. Best place to look is Etsy if your just starting out!

    • @AngelaJasmina
      @AngelaJasmina  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi! I don't get thread breaks often, thread breaks are usually caused by incorrect tension, and the needle being installed incorrectly. I would say I get 1 thread break every other shirt if that, its due largely to the actifeed on the Melco since it adjusts the tension as it stitches

      Hey, I have a question. Have you ever done a baby shark shirt that is iron on? If so, how can I get a picture of a pink baby shark and put it on a shirt? Every time I try it with cricut like remove or erase, it don’t look right. So I was wondering if you can help me out.!
