Murdock is awesome, being crazy just fits him. In some of the toughest situations he can be super crazy but serious enough to pull through and get the job done. He's my hero.
I actually see Murdock as a very deep, serious man, but that's usually not the side he shows. That's why I love the times when he gets to play it serious (though I love his crazy/fun side, too).
I think that one of the best things about him is that there are so many sides to him. Whenever he needs to be serious he is and when a little humor is needed he just acts like his normal crazy self.
Snovyda27 gets it. Murdock is the most underappreciated hero of the A-team. People see him acting goofy and don't take him seriously, but DANG--they ought to.
♥♥♥ Song works on so many levels. Because Murdock IS an unsung hero, and it also fits in with his fantasy life. I also found the vid pretty dark. If you start thinking too much about the background of the show, with the whole war experience ending up with one of them so traumatized he got locked in a psychiatric hospital, you're like, "Wow, this is so not funny!"

+Kate Criley Me too but the Family Reunion episode was the best I've seen of Face and Murdock. That was the only episode where Murdock was completely serious. I never seen the 5th season till now and I was blown away. Made me like Murdock's character even more.
My major issue was the lack of friendship in that season, it was very man for them selves, And it wasn't like that before Murdock was still there for them but they didn't sem to have his back .
+Kate Criley I agree. The network wanted the show to fail so they kept getting rid of the people who were making it work. To me Murdock made the show work but since they were doing everything they could to make the show worse it broke the bond these guys had and season 5 was what it looked like when you try to make a show fail.

I've noticed hannibals plans get them into trouble but its always murdock who has the plan to save them.
