It's a solid ride, but Thunderbird at Holiday World is a much better wing-coaster. I've heard many complain about the vest restraints...I've personally never had an issue with them.
To add my own two cents about the restraints, for me they are horrible. They pinch my hip bone so hard that I’m in actual pain and squirming a little. But I only really notice that at the very end of the ride when we are stopped. The ride itself is really great and I enjoy it a lot. Plus the lines aren’t too bad.
X flight is excellent if you’re not an incorrigible adrenaline junkie. 9/10. Otherwise, it’s a solid 7. I still prefer Superman for a similar but more intense experience. I’d echo the other person that the restraints never felt uncomfortable for me.
