- In Today's Driving lesson Millie learnt how to reverse bay parking. This is millie's first attempt at bay parking and she does very well!
Millie's got really good clutch control and this helps her while reversing into narrow spaces.
We started parking In an empty car park with no cars either side. By the end of this lesson Millie was confidently parking in between parked cars and fully aware of her surroundings.

This has been so helpful! I’m a struggling learner and been having my lessons every other week, but been having help from my neighbour to do this in our communal car park and getting the hang of it pretty quickly 🥰

Parking in-between cars are so much easier, i really struggle parking in an empty carpark 😅 at least with one car you've got an idea of where to end up 😂😂

Because if I start parking from my side of road then it is so far
I had automatic practical test last month but I was feal because when my examiner said pull on the left I did double yellow lane could you let me know which lane mince we can't pull on the left plz?

It is a good feeling when get it first time, but sadly when trying to reverse between two vehicles it leads to abuse from other road users. 😤
my worst fears in text.. i porked today at local coop boi was it bad lucikly not full or else i would just pakr somehwere else tbf.. then waited for a guy to go went from forward bay and just reversed back altho not in lines.. it was quite clear :( i rushed getting things as i see u can get fined for not parking in the lines hate my life... i havent found a place i can practice with no eyes around and welp im aloser.

Thank you for these videos! I've passed but from where I'm from, parkings were done in a circuit. Therefore not very confident with parking. Car ownership is very expensive here in Singapore so there's lesser chance for me to practice driving

Does the UK call parking spaces “Bays”? In the USA we call them “Parking Spaces” or “Marked Stalls”
Parking spaces could be anywhere we can legally park. Regardless if there is lines marking where each car goes. Parking bays are just the marked Parking spaces - and usually like the ones in the video

Why is bay parking taught this way? U see no one bay parking like this in car parks if u do this in a busy car park someone will just steal your spot whilst u drive ahead of the bay u want to park in 😂

No disrespect but this seems like a far too busy parking space to be teaching this. The place my instructor takes me too is almost deserted, in fact most of the people in there are taking driving lessons as well.
But I guess it depends on what is available in your immediate area.
hey yeah it all depends on the location, its busy everywhere really. the car park wasn't too busy this day, but its good to practice like this. its more realistic. 😊
