While there's a lot of good guide makers out there, and I follow several of them, there's just something about how you present things that makes it easier for my slower-than-most brain to understand it. And your polite manner just adds to things, as you seem to show an enormous amount of respect - something I value greatly! Just the fact that you take the time to politely ask that people show patience with new people watching cutscenes instantly makes you more likeable, both as a person and as a content creator. I am genuinely happy every time you upload a guide. You do amazing work, thank you!

Wow thank you so much for this video!! I blasted through ARR to ShB the past month and now want to farm anima weapons but they require soo many poetics! I was about to just queue for roulettes and single dungeons daily so im glad this video showed me the many alternatives!
Back when Eureka gave out the weekly capped tomestones I told everyone about how fast it was and no one believed me. Glad it's being utilized for poetics now at least
@@ultimateuk yep, especially if you've got all the zones unlocked, you can jump between them whenever big NM trains are going, but even otherwise just killing NMs in one zone for a while for the resources needed to upgrade a weapon will easily land you a fistful of tomes.

@@Master_Aqua Problem is, you're lucky if you'll find anyone there now. I'm on Primal and rarely see more than 8 people in Anemos, with even less than that in the other zones.
I’ve been enjoying the Beast Tribes a lot. It’s easy, good poetics, neat lore, decent xp, and best of all helps you slowly get to the mounts they have.
wondrous tails are the hardest to remember and glad you opened with it. it's easy to forget to pick a book up and hand it in when you're done. I have personally probably handed in more books covered in cobwebs then filled books xD
eureka can be good if people are consistantly trying to pop nm's. if you get lazy instances, garuda hard mode is the second to most fast poetic grind method. 72 you can get about 1440 poetics in an hour if lucky. Bare in mind, this is if every q has a new player clearing hard garuda for the first time. which is about 80% of the time. 2-3 minute kill time usually under two and a half minutes. Queue as a healer and youre golden.

Does anyone know what the total number of poetics needed for a relic weapon if you only spend poetics on the items (or at least only the ones that require poetics) And is there a checklist somewhere to keep track of my progress of spending excess poetics on items for future relics?
These are really good tips, but I would go one step further and recommend palace of the dead, especially if you have something baby level, that way you get tomes and good exp without having to be low level for content because you play at level 60. Also, even if you're max level, it offers tomestones of Deepshadow and Allegory, as well as giving you the completion if you're new to palace or just haven't cleared the 200th floor. Graehl, if you could add this to the video or pin it in the comment section that would be grand. Great work as always Graehl!

well, there's more for the heavensward relic weapon you can spend on. Aether Oil, you need 5 for the next step after the unidentifiable materials. 350 poetic each from Hismena in Idyllshire- wait you just said you can't get to Idyllshire yet. Uh oh. Uh... means you can't get Umbrite yet either. But what you _can_ get is materials that you'll be able to trade in for Crystal Sand used during the Umbrite phase. Auriana in Mor Dhona offers these, you can grab Superior Enchanted Ink and Thanvarian Mist. 5 of each (for a total of 225 poetics) can be traded in for 2 Crystal Sand. And the quest calls for... _60 - 80_ crystal sand. So you can spend a good 6750-9000 poetics on that alone.
Getting the 485 relic at 80. And to buy a number of other materials for relics from other expansions. If you don't have all your jobs to 80 then also to buy leveling gear for those. As well as a bunch of other crafting materials if you want to make some specific housing items or glam sets.
just take your time 5.3 is going to get delayed so relics wont be fully upgradable for awhle by the time it does come out you'll have all the relics then you can get 2k poetics and a bit more by just doing dailies a week
What are you people even doing with poetics? I use them for nothing other than leveling gear for alts. I'm almost always capped on them and have to actively remember to dump them into leveling gear. Is it for crafting? Because I don't craft.
Yeah, but if you want to get 16,000 poetics for doing all the relics, you'll either need to be doing that for over a month or you'll need other sources for poetics.
the relic is in the first step so simple looking weapons. who cares if it takes a month when the next relic step wont be out before then, and running one thing a day wont feel like a grind. also the weapons are only item lvl 485 so they are pretty much useless has 490,500 and 505 weapons were out before the relic even came out. i have 6 relics and i didnt grind any just came from playing the game.

Eureka is without a doubt the best way to obtain poetics. I capped from 0 to 2k in about an hour and a half last night.

1000 poetics = 4 scalepowder = 1 relic. Easy first step, so probably no tracker.

Hi guys I'm wondering what should I spend my poetics on if I'm already at endgame with most things maxed? I can't find a use for them.
After gearing up all alt jobs for 50/60/70 levels I just buy Demimateria and sell it to NPCs. 25 poetics each for 500 gil.

@@chriswolfinger6638 running msq every day would still feel like a grind. I loathe that roulette. Also, for non-raiders the weapons are still good.
@@chriswolfinger6638 there is also past relics to make if you haven't done them which could require a good chunk of poetics to make.
