theres still a way to use the hot racing cvd axles if you so desire... it will require more parts, but the conversion is stunning! you just need the granite/typhon grom suspension arms "suspension arm set a" and the granite/typhon grom steering hubs and rear hubs. the granite adjustable steering links, and possibly firmer springs makes the mojave into a widebody truck! it looks absolutely sick! try it out
I didnt want to wide kit it. I eneded up using the stock shafts and installed them into the metal cups. Worked for 50+ runs and several dozen 50+ MPH passes but I did just blow them. I installed some RCAWD shafts yesterday and they look really really nice. The cups are a bit more robust than the Arrmas. I will spend the next few weeks torture testing them!
Nice upgrades. Those drive shafts should fit the Typhon also. I believe the Granite and Typhon have the same parts at least the arms are the same part. So you could put them on your Typhon if it needs upgrades
That fan kicks ass! The stock one is crap. I'd just go with a Hobbywing esc because those programmer's work awesome. I tried several programmers for the King Val and Goolrc and they're all garbage. Good Video.
How do you install the hot racing servo plate before I physically destroy my car I got over$600 in it I’m having a melt down time to walk away I really hope I don’t destroy it. I’m about to I gota take a walk
Not sure. I cant seem to find the proper ones. Another channel ordered a different set but they seemed to be between the Grainte Grom and Mojave Grom sizes. So far I can only find cups. That being said, with metal cups or the cheaper diffs I installed, the stock axles shouldnt have a problem for something this size. They are about as thick as the axles inside a TRX4 and those have WAY more power and get bound up (rock climber) without snapping a shaft.
Wrong, with hot racing shocks the black springs are average, the silver ones are soft and the gold ones are the strongest, you can also see in the video that the gold ones are thicker
I think that is the sickest desk bin I’ve ever seen Dude🤩🤩💯

I like my Mojave Grom. It's fun.
I broke my rear differential on my Mojave and I’m planning on doing an exact rebuild like yours and make it brushless 🔥 these videos have been helpful
Sweet upgrades and very informative install!
Omg
I am totally diggin your desk trash bin
Do you also have the truck to remove the rubbish 🤤🤤🤤🙌🏿😎👊🏿👊🏿😁😁😁

The fact you are using a drill thay cost as much as if not more than the car did originally makes me appreciate your style 😂
LOL
SPMXCA320. Ic2-ic3 cable for charging. Have one for lmt mini battery. Just order Mojave grom. Can’t wait to give it a go.

Can this fan upgrade be used with the stock brushed system?
Great upgrades
Good info. Subscribed
Thanks for the sub!
Are the front and rear shock the same size
Yes
Can that fan upgrade be used on the stock brushed system? The ESC runs cool enough but that stock motor on 2S gets dumb hot.
Yup. Fits right in place and makes the motor run WAY cooler. I just used hot glue to attach it. Works great even when bashing and wrecking! LOL
@@TheDudeRc awesome! I’ll grab a few and report back. Appreciate the help 🫡
