My uncle had a big farm in Missouri, and me and my cousin, would go with him and his son, from W,V, to his farm in Missouri, it took almost twenty hours to drive there. We would help with the work on the farm, like, bailing hay off the field, clearing pasture fields, and giving immunization shots to his 200 Black Angus cattle he raised. this was in the 80's and I was in my teens, it was hot and strenuous work, but we had a blast. My uncle died a few years back, cancer, he had to sell the farm when he got to sick to tend it. I still think of those times on his farm and him, fondly and smile. Needless to say, I have a lot of respect for farmers and their families.Bless all of them.

that is as fast as they can go and there is nothing they can do about it also most of the time they will pull over when they are able to that way people can go around them. Some areas where I live at times I end up behind a tractor etc and I just slow down and wait until it is safe to go around them.

My absolutely favorite song by this gorgeous man
Like if you're still chugga lugga luggin in 2024 or later! 👀
Just went home to Monroe Missouri for my baby girl who was born in Wesley hospital in Wichita ks ON HILLSIDE!!!!! this was shot downtown, she was 9 year's Old!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 We love RIVER FERST!!!
Saw him last night at Whiskey Tangos in Grain Valley Missouri. He put on an amazing show!!!!
His next single I'm pretty sure is "I hate the taste of Whiskey" check it out. Sarah Beth Terry and Anthony Smith wrote it!
I’m not a country boy but this song is incredible
2024 still this song is a great song this generation is going to helll proud of all farmers who haven't sold there property's keep doing what your doing its a hard job ik that wish I was still doing it
I wake up every morning and this is the first song I hear! It reminds me of my hardworking dad that farmed as well as his lifelong masonry work!
I live in a big metro, 2500 miles from where I grew up. Yet, this reminds me of HOME! You should see the looks I get when I play it at the bus stop! Farms in Phoenix aren't anything like the Mid-west!
Remember, STAY BACK, STAY ALIVE! There's a reason why they are called slow-moving vehicles!
Simple music can make you sing, a simple hug can make you feel, better, simple things can make you happy, I hope my simple hello will put a smile on your face..

This was my brother-in-law's favorite song. He passed away from covid back in August. Once I get all the parts down and arranged, I'll be doing drum cover of this song for him. Miss you Hoss!
🤍
Let us all know when the cover is done...I'm sure the UTUBE community will love to add the other parts to it! :)
I really like C.M. not just the music but he is a USA veteran! I luv vets. My daddy, husband and son have all served in the army too. And 2 step sons.
I remember I was eight years old when this song was released I loved the song so much, and I still do till this day.
Happy 11 birthday to this song
When I was a child I lived on a farm. Unfortunately I don’t anymore. Were good days. I’m always and will always be a country boy though at heart. Yeeeeeee yeeeeee brothers n’ sisters!
Heck yah
YEEEEYEEEE
❤❤❤ It's farmer season here in Delaware! Sit tight and be nice!

i do not care if you say you don't like country music, this is OBJECTIVELY a BOP.
Anyone who says "is a bop" is automatically denounced.

Lotta memories of my kids singing they knew Every word. Miss Drew and Mary Rita. Mom loves you ❣️
I just discovered this song (January 2021), and I love it. My grandpa was a farmer here in Oklahoma.
This is what country music should be. I haven’t listened to new country songs in a long time. What else have I missed?

Jason Aldean

I'm the son of a third generation farmer
I've been married 10 years to the farmer's daughter
I'm a God fearing hardworking combine driver
Hogging up the road on my p-p-p-p-plower
Chug-a-lug-a-lugin 5 miles an hour
On my International Harvester.
3 miles of cars laying on their horns
Falling on deaf ears of corn
Lined up behind me like a big parade
Late to work, road raged jerks
Shouting obscene words flippin me the bird
Well you maybe be on a state paved road
But that blacktop runs through my pay load
Excuse me for trying to do my job
But this year ain't been no bumper crop
If you don't like the way I'm a driving
Get back on the interstate
Otherwise sit tight and be nice
And quit your honking at me that way
Cause I'm the son of a 3rd generation farmer
I've been married 10 years to the farmer's daughter
I got 2 boys in the county 4-H
I'm a lifetime sponsor of the FFA
Hey that's what I make
I make a lot of Hay for a little pay
and I'm proud to say
I'm a God fearing hardworking combine driver
Hogging up the road on my p-p-p-p-plower
Chug-a-lug-a-lugin 5 miles an hour
On my International Harvester.
Well I know you got your own deadline
But cussing me won't save you no time Hoss
But this big wheel wide load ain't going any faster
So just smile and wave and tip your hat to the man up on the tractor
Cause I'm the son of a 3rd generation farmer

I got 2 boys in the county 4-H

I have listens to this song since I was 3 and I feel like this song has gotten better. I miss when I was 3 and going to Auctions with my grand father and pa Henry that was 6 years ago and I miss it 😞 this song brings it all back
dad: "son of a..."
me: "third generation farmer"
That made me stop singing, and start cracking up!! Lmao!
@@vickyvallejo1980 lol
Mitch better then the alternative word
😂
This made me smile
I’ll admit I was one of those people that yelled at tractors while driving till it hit me how hard these people work. Apologies to those farmers I yelled at. Keep doing what you do ❤️
They help feed us. They are a small inconvenience in comparison to starvation ❤
Your apology is accepted ❤️ I'm the daughter of a second generation farmer myself so I do relate to this song a lot. Not the hay, but veggies

that is as fast as they can go and there is nothing they can do about it also most of the time they will pull over when they are able to that way people can go around them.
Some areas where I live at times I end up behind a tractor etc and I just slow down and wait until it is safe to go around them.
If I remember correctly this song was sang by Craig Morgan at Red Power Roundup (the National International Harvester Collectors Club Show in Madison Wi.) I was there and met Craig and seen him have a concert one day. It was put on by Case-IH. Has a very special place in my heart as now I'm an IHC Chapter VP, Membership Secretary and B.O.D. member. What an awesome memory.
HOW IS THIS SONG ALREADY TEN YEARS OLD??!! I WAS FRICKING F O U R
I taught my children to pray wen they were younger and We would add all farmers, in our prayers because if it wasn’t for the farmers we would f have good to eat!!
