Hey thanks for the video! I own those Boots myself and I really love them! Out of the box they were very wearable. The quality is not the pinnacle compared to Trickers Stow or the Corckett & Jones Conistons, but I that's a very high level anyhow. I can recommend them for sure! All the best from Germany!
I own these and I think the overall QC is higher on these than on my AE Daltons. I have two pairs of daltons, both firsts, both 9.5D, one in shell one in walnut and they both have their quirks, especially fit. The bedale are just the way they are supposed to be. Stitch count is also higher. The leather seems mostly on par with AE but AE might have a slight advantage. I like them alot, but I'm pretty sure british rubber is at least two parts cement, with all the ice around here right now they're too slippery to wear so they are taking a much deserved break.
I know what you mean about the rubber and the sole. I thought it might be the victory sole pattern. Great in snow, not so great on ice. That said all Dainite Is British rubber so I think it’s just these soles. For the leather maybe it was just my pair of Loakes vs Dalton’s but the lining was a three step advantage AE and upper was maybe 2
