"Outside is the East Coast Mainline, 12 inches to the foot". Priceless!
The A2/2 isn't my favourite model, but the one in this video looks superb. I must acquire a Hornby B1 in the near future.
    A very enjoyable video.

Like all Little Bytham videos, this is a joy to watch. This is the real railway-nothing precious about it-and the trains run at scale speeds and do not start and stop like an MG in a hurry.

Thank god, someone took the time to re-upload this without the trains sounding like they're underwater, no thanks to Hornby

Many years ago I used to trainspot from the 3 arch Bridge at Little Bytham which was quite a long bike ride for a day by the mainline. Although we couldn't see the numbers there was always excitement on seeing a train on the M&GNR going over the big steel bridge across the ECML. Every bit as good as an A4 on the mainline!
Sadly we saw the destruction of the station, yet the slow lines continued to curve around the now non existent platforms.
Last time I was on the bridge would be about 1964 February half term and by then little was left of the goods yard and many of the trains were diesel powered though some steam was still hanging on. At that time the M&GNR was closed and I think the steel girder bridge was gone too.
Thanks for the memories of Bytham past. Very much appreciated were your lovely and very realistic models. I could almost be back there in the days of my youth!

Little Bytham is a fantastic railway layout. I’ve got the video of Tony right building it and also his book on this layout love watching all his videos. Many thanks sharing it Colin.

Little Bytham is a wonderful layout to showcase these marvelous realistic looking and fine running Hornby steam locomotives. I have quite a few fine Hornby's too and very pleased the B1 is again due soon. My favorite are the Maunsell S15's and out of 4 I had to replace 1 defective motor send for free by Hornby but easy to replace. A most enjoyable and informative video. Much appreciated !
