I knew they’d do this, more of the poor old Ste routine. The storyline was an important one but they should’ve done it with another character who they weren’t intending to bring back, because let’s face it, any decent person who was genuinely remorseful wouldn’t have returned after being involved in something like that. The actor who played brendan made it clear he didn't want to come back so a recast would have to happen. They recast characters every year so I don't see why not. They just recast ollie.

EliJahe. Brendan accepted the responsibility for the death of five people (should have been six). He deserves to spend the rest of his life locked up in prison. Bringing Brendan back even as a recast would be a mockery of the judicial system. Seamus' death was not self defense. Seamus was murdered by Cheryl. Ste needs to be free of the abusive murderer.
