that IKEA is bang on...that is exactly where it is in real life, just east of the Brunette exit next to Highway 1...that is a very well done detail, great job
I can't wait for Jeff to try and do this when the Winter comes out, as it can be such a terrifying drive, I have had a few near death experiences driving 97C in the winter
Hold up, is CivRyan from the lower mainland? I've done this drive many times myself as well. Seeing the hope princeton exit, the tunnel on the coq, and the port mann bridge was super cool. They captured the feelings of driving through metro vancouver, the Frazer valley, and the okanagan super well!

one more comment then I will be done :) ProdMods has done an absolutely incredible job with this, I am stunned...I have driven these roads more times than I can count and I can honestly say that it makes you feel like you are there just like real life, leaving Vancouver, coming into and out of Hope, the snow shed, the pass over the summit, coming down into Merritt, the look of the vegetation (minus the palm tree), signage, even down to the twists and turns of the highway...all bang on. WOW...just...WOW
Love seeing the videos from home. I’m so used to all those roads the Portman is normally more packed and yes we use alot of roundabouts haha. The map is so realistic too.
Other day was in Merritt driving this route the opposite way and just happened to go by the big mill their and immediately this video popped into my mind. Again just want to say how damn amazed I am at how accurate this entire thing is. INCREDIBLE!
Hey Jeff, I’m loving how accurate this Canada pack is so far, hard to believe it’s free! I’m sure someone mentioned it, but highway 1 is also called the Trans-Canada Highway, and runs all the way to the Far East Coast of Newfoundland. I personally live in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada and so I can’t wait to see how well they model the super busy Queen Elizabeth Highway 2 in Alberta and how accurate they model Edmonton and Calgary. Keep up the awesome work Jeff, thanks for all that you do, I appreciate you and your hard work!
I'm blown away by the accuracy they have now. A far cry from 18WOS i used to play. I lived in Coquitlam, and Hope. Traveled those roads every day when I started trucking. Got to get this now!
Wow did they ever do a good job on this. It looks almost identical to the real Coq. The Great Bear Snowshed looks just like real life. Super nice to see my province showcased perfectly. Also Interstate 1 is the Trans Canada Highway here. The highway that goes all the way across the country.
Jeff is my absolute favourite TH-camr hands down! Every video is a new adventure and brings so much joy. Thank you jeff for the awsome content. You inspire me so much.
Absolutely surreal some of the locations they chose, the Port Mann area and Abbotsford exits look legit 1:1, I go there to the Costco quite often. And it's crazy seeing Hope in here done so well. They made a lot of custom signage and region-specific markers for this, It's incredible. Nearly SCS quality. I hope in the future they can massage in some more room for the Abbotsford-Chilliwack area of the valley on the map (I've lived in the area my whole life, it has some gorgeous sightlines of Mt Cheam, and some big truckstops to pick from)
I love the look of this mod, and I'm going to install it whenever it comes out. I just hope that they consider adding Vancouver Island since the Trans Canada Highway starts in Victoria, and we have some great stretches of highway here like, The Malahat highway 19, 4, and 28. Love the work you do and the work Promods has done keep it up.
I’m amazed at how accurate this map is. The Coq is pretty well depicted! The signage, scenery and overall layout is fantastic! Just need some snow and it would be perfect. That tunnel you went through is called a snow shed. It was specifically designed in a high probability avalanche zone so an avalanche would pass over the highway. That hill with that snow shed is typically referred to as “The Smasher” by truckers. It is an 8.5% grade that spans about 20 kilometres (12.5 miles). It is treacherous in both directions. That icon is for the brake check trucks over 10,000 kg GVW must stop at before they go down The Smasher. There are 2 brake checks in each direction between Kamloops and Hope.
Fun fact Jeff you are wondering what we call it instead of interstate, Canada has a highway called the trans canada highway goes from Vancouver to the complete other end of Canada (like past Maine, USA). That's the highway you were on at the moment. I can't believe how detailed this is. I hope you are going to do a whole cross Canada drive!
we call it HWY 1 it connects to the Coq, which takes you north, I have driven all the roads in this pro mods map and know exactly where you are, so its pretty accurate. cant wait, i live 10 mins from Abbottsford so this was weird
This is cool Jeff! I grew up the Vancouver area and traveled lots to Merritt and the map is just like in real life!! I love your videos keep up the good work.
I live in BC and have drove to Kelowna. the street signs and scenery and mountains are pretty realistic and awesome to see in a game, the drive from Abbotsford to Kelowna really is pretty nice IRL

As being from Kelowna (30 min. drive from Merritt), I find this mod to be very cool. Because I always drive past Merritt when going to visit family. It looks EXACTLY like real life.
I enjoyed watching it! I think the mod condensed the scenery of highway 1 from Richmond to Abbotsford (at least). I drive this segment at least once a week, used to be more. It's good to see the exits and the bridges that I have to go pass. That IKEA is sooo noticeable in real life for sure!! I just think it's funny that it just skips parts of Surrey and the entirety of Langley all together after Port Mann Bridge (about 30 minutes of actual driving). LOL
Pumped to see more love for Canada on your channel, Jeff. Maybe when the ‘rona is done you can road-trip up this way. Lots of good highway to enjoy. Lots of terrible highway to enjoy, too.
