how to grab job in Google in such recession ? how to pick good projects for resume and about the ATS system of google and also how to align the resume so that ur resume, (keyword) should match to that job listed
So many Indians in tech. We love the Gauravs. I just met another Gaurav working in Amazon. Most are south indians. but the ones i work with are coming form North India. Namaste! I'm getting good at HIndi
a question for the AMA, something I noticed in quite a few tech day-in the life videos.....does life outside the office feel a bit boring due to the lack of hustle and bustle in foreign countries ? In India, there's always a lot of people around and there's a lot of activities going on, so it does feel a bit more busy , on the other hand , places like Silicon Valley seem a bit deserted (even though they're pretty peaceful as well !!)
If you see the the population density of The US is very much unevenly scattered. The maximum population lives by the Midwest and East (Chicago-NY). In the middle either be it's empty or very less population. If you go south and comes Texas, Florida and other major states with huge population. But in the west the max part is of desert. Which leads to fewer resources and high expenses. That's you won't find deeper concentration there. But the it's full of natural beauty and landscapes.
@@zyrexx0012 hmm yes i understand that, but i was asking in general, as an indian how is the community like in foreign countries...cuz i've heard from some people that you dont get that sense of "belongingness" in the community as much as you do in india.....imo not being around your people can take a toll on mental health in the long run, idk
@@iamguyfawkes1474 Americans are the friendliest people. As the entire country is mostly led by immigrants. If you're into socialising like me I guarantee, you won't disappoint. Americans are more practical rather being emotional. Moreover, if you a "community" thing then I would suggest you to live in the suburbs.
Question for AMA: How should we spend our weekends or post-official working hours (if someone gets time), to maintain a good work-life balance while learning/exploring new things other than our regular job tech stack. Thanks
Hi Gaurav Sir, Wishing you a fantastic holiday season! For the AMA, I'd love your advice on programming and developing logical thinking for 1st-year students. If possible, could you share a roadmap for them to potentially join Google? Thanks a bunch 😁😁
Question for AMA : How did u learn the trades of the tech job market and what to do next etc despite coming from the industrial engineering background > is getting hands on the job and the code is the key? Thanks
Pls do let me i am second year IT btech guy and I have just basic knowledge of c language and some sort of DSA theory portions what and how should I do in order to get big companies waiting for your reply
Question AMA: Is there any way to enter FAANG companies or similar with specialized roles like frontend? Do companies hire for these roles or is it only like normal SDEs where they would be given a project based on requirement. Also Can you discuss about your interview exp at Google since you joined as SE-3 and that too in Android.
Hi Gaurav Sir, My question for AMA is - 1. I’m working as an Salesforce Developer and having 2 YOE. usually MAANG companies consider this role as Application Eng (Salesforce) but I aspire to be an SDE at these companies so an Application Eng(Salesforce) is eligible to apply for SDE role ? 2. To move to US at head quarters of big tech giants does Tech Stack on which are working upon in India also matters ? Eg - Salesforce Dev will have less opportunity to relocate to US within same company and Java Dev (SDE) will be preferred for that. Please help me knowing this better, Thank You!
Hi Gaurav, Please pick this one for #AMA Considering the recession, is moving to the US for a master's after my Indian undergrad and a low-paying job at service based company a good call? Your thoughts? 🤔
#AMA Hi Sir, I'm a final Year BCA Student, My question is, What's the quality you/someone look for in a candidate when you/someone refers for a job application?
Hi Gaurav, I was thinking for moving to USA for my masters, what do you think is it worth it? Since you have been part of indian job market as well, do you think job market is stable in USA for tech? Are there even vacancies? Also overall what is your pov? I am really scared and need your opnion on this ,thank you in advance!
As a interviewer, suppose there is a candidate who took like 3 4 hints to solve a hard DSA question in the interview but as a interviewer you felt like the candidate is having much more potential and can become a good swe . So would you hire him / her ? Also give us some insights from interviewers POV (I have seen your interviewer video ) apart from that anything else please do share . And thank you for the great videos , keep them coming.
Also wanted to ask , how we can shape ourselves to become a good software engineer if not best . Also can you please do a podcast with a distinguished engineer at google or at any other tech company so that we can get insights how to become one and excel through it. Thank you
AMA.. How to join google as for a non tech roles, like, Partner Manager, Copyright Specialist etc at TH-cam... If its possible please do record a podcast with them :) .. Love from Pakistan
