The contestant Debbie is the mother of a celebrity in the UK called Jessie Impiazzi. There was a sad story in the news about Debbie Impiazzi, where she suddenly lost her eyesight and became fully blind.
This is an October 1992 episode of the British game show "Keynotes" in season five. The two teams competing on this episode are Denise, Paul & Debbie and Carol, Jim & Caroline. 🇬🇧 🇬🇧
Thought Alistair was a great host - lively and slick.Far better than some others that were around at that period doing these 9.25 shows. Shame TV executives didnt use him more.😢
The problem with the game is that puzzles one and two meant absolutely nothing but filler, as it was solely on who won puzzle three won the game. The US Pilot fixed this problem but never got a airing :( (tis a shame)
I was a contestant on the very first episode of this back in 1989!

Absolutely loved this show as a kid.
Always wondered why the presenter wasnt on more shows.
I used to watch this whenever I was suspended from school
Can't say I was suspended from school but I watched these programmes when on school holidays.
I always remembered this as a kid if I were off school I would always watch it
thanks tor uploading Alistair always enjoyed watching back in the day. Wish Challenge would show the show again
Wish Challenge would show loads more classics instead of repeats of that Chase which I can't stand in the first place.
So strange that I was 1 when this aired, I'm Courtney, Caroline's daughter. Great to see my mum on TV nearly 30 years later 👍
Wow!
Please bring this back to Challenege TV. i LOVED this show. I miss it, so much being a musician and that.
Used to love watching this.
I was on there in the late 80's, loved it
I remember watching this on weekdays mornings when half time or Easter Holidays or off sick from school. Proper weekday mornings and no Jeremy Kyle
Loved this show. We all downed tools at work until this finished. I reckon the boss was glad when the series ended.
Thanks for this upload this is brilliant

Great show this.It and the presenter Alastair deserved more exposure
I watched it when I was a little girl 👧.
After series we had runway with Richard madely
When ITV was good. Great memories. No Jeremy Kyle :)
Instead of Jeremy Kyle we had The Time The Place which would be on after this at 10am.
We would like more full shows from your show as we love it
I wouldn’t mind seeing a game show back in the mornings, me and my mum love long lost family though
I was on this show and loved it I still have the keynotes silver keynote and the yellow key not ball
I wish this could have come across the pond to the US, It was piloted there, but never aired, there is one non broadcast pilot on YT.
24:01 _”Produced in association with HTV West, Keynotes is a Reg Grundy production”_
Great upload, just a shame the audio is out of sync towards the end! Isn't it time this show was revived by the way?
It reminds of Name that tune
I liked this show lol
Hey Alistair, do you have a clean version of the theme to this great programme?
Oi Jim NOOO
Why did they cancel the show?
Thought Alistair was a great host - lively and slick.Far better than some others that were around at that period doing these 9.25 shows. Shame TV executives didnt use him more.😢
Loved theme tune aswell. Don't think it was commercially available
in the Australian version, if the champions win 5 games, they win a holiday. I wonder the British version does the same thing.
No-- if the champs won five games on the UK version, they won another £500.
what happened to him
i need the rules
WHAT ARE THE RULES
First rule, don’t talk about Keynotes
The problem with the game is that puzzles one and two meant absolutely nothing but filler, as it was solely on who won puzzle three won the game. The US Pilot fixed this problem but never got a airing :( (tis a shame)
Better when we had a game show on at 9.30. They got good rating. What happened to the host. He was good on here
