    It came out good for my first attempt and half portion of this recipe called fir.
    Lemon taste was more in mine. Then, I adjusted with a bit more of coconut milk.

      Genie Mum I make food and I don’t know what the meaning is lol. It is what ever our cook (upu) gave us before we left in ‘74. We arrived in Melbourne with this black book with recipes my mum got from him. I have learnt watching TH-cam and I have hundreds of cook books - cooking is my passion and I grow a lot of the veggies/fruit/nuts/berries that we eat. My husband (Aussie) is a hunter so I learnt how to cook venison/goat/emu/kangaroo/crocodile/wild boar. I also learnt how to cook Lingus (yum) from my Ceylon Daily News Cookbook - this is my bible for SL cooking.
      You are an incredible cook and I have watched most of your recipes, I don’t cook tofu as I avoid anything made from soy beans. Please keep posting your authentic recipes as they are so delicious.

    • @geniemum652
      @geniemum652  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rampe is also called pandan leaf or screwpine leaf, added to curries and sothy to add flavour. There is no substitute as such. If that is not available curry leaves is all we need. Thank you.
