A wiring diagram showing 2 transformers connected would have been nice also showing clearly where they would be located. Thanks for video

Terrific video! I just subscribed. We had that exact Emerson Sensi thermostat that was recently installed with our new AC unit. Our single stage AC unit runs for only about 7-8 minutes. Does that sound like a normal run cycle tme, in the summer, in the south? It cools great. The humidity reading on the digital thermostat is mid 60s. However, the humidity reading on our inexpensive hygrometer is mid 50s. Which is likely to be more accurate? Or should I trust neither, and purchase Fieldpiece psychrometer?

Does the common wire have power running through it constantly like the r wire?

The common wire will not show voltage in relationship to ground, but it does carry the current of the thermostat's power circuit. This power is very small and hard to measure.
