I picked up City of Brass back in January, but I kind of stopped reading it since I haven't been in a Fantasy mood. You're excitement and love for it made me really excited to pick it back up now, though! Can't wait!!

But I managed to finish The Sword of Summer for the first time and recently started Beartown! Also, keep doing reading vlogs the way you're doing them! They're always awesome and I love to see you experience the books before, during, and after!

Yay! The Daevabad Trilogy is one of my favs ever! Each book just gets better and better and everything develops so well with the many secrets getting revealed so slowly you will be haunted in the process. And I’m sure you have already figured it out but just in case ... so after Suleiman cursed them the Daevas (that’s their species name) split into the 6 tribes and the tribe led by the Nahids also weirdly decided to name their tribe ‘Daevas’ but the rest have other names like Geziri etc. THEN to make it a bit more confusing, though their species is ‘Daevas’ like we’re ‘human’ the other 5 tribes instead call themselves djinn except the Daeva tribe still call themselves Daevas. Sooo I hope this helped but it may have confused you more! Keen to hear your thoughts on Dara’s character development and plot line over the next two books. It’s my main issue but love what happens in book 3!

OMG. Same feels same. You know when I was almost done, someone told me there was a glossary at the end of the book and I was like WTF. I was confused of the name at start but it went good with the story was able to understand. And I love Ali😭😭😭😭 like OMG. He is so innocent and so pure when it comes to things definitely do not keep things inside him 😂😂😂😂 I finished it two days ago and I still think of certain things. I want more of the brothers in book 2 , sad how they parted in book 1

I just finished the daevabad series and it was honestly the best series I’ve ever read and I was genuinely sad when it ended. Also heads up, book 2 is even better than book 1 🥲
My mom actually got it for me for Christmas!😂 she thinks it’s from Cafe Press, but I feel like you can type the words on the sweater into Google and find it! I’ve definitely seen it online before 🤗

I had attempted to listen to the audio version of this last year and couldn't get into it. I think I will give it another try in book form.
