I looked at a property your team was selling and the paperwork left for prospective buyers were really transparent and detailed highlights of the property including disclosing there’s an upcoming assessment. For buyers, it’s so helpful and reassuring. A lot of agents try to hide deficiencies. I asked another agent about assessments on another property in the same building, and their reply was a “I don’t know,” which made me less reassured they were honest.
Thank you for sharing your experience with my team! Transparency AND honesty are very important to me and my team. In addition preparation and knowledge is also critical . It may have been that the other agent just didn't know about the assessments . I find that many agents just are under prepared and don't have the experience necessary to help. It's not necessary lack honesty as it is lack of experience and due diligence.
