    Tough loss. Really his first ever playoffs as “the guy” and he didn’t disappoint. He seems like a resilient guy, you can see that with how he always makes big shots for OKC. As long as they have him they should be in the playoffs every year.

      As a Knicks fan the refs did everything in their power to force a game 7 on the empty slated monday….. he couldn’t win with the refs on his side. Luka showed real greatness overcoming the Thunder and refs 🤷‍♂️

      @@estroja5892 no he wasn’t….. if that’s the case they need to go get a point guard. You people don’t pay attention to the fact he’s a POINT GUARD. So when he comes down and uses 10-15 seconds and passes it up he’s not doing his teammates any favors. No one on his team gets a rhythm because of it. The best player in this series was Luka. Luka and Ky for most of the series were getting over committed on while Dallas never over reacted to SGA. That’s the difference in the series if you paid close attention.

    I actually love the accountability he’s taking and not blaming the refs. He’s acknowledging the foul and acknowledging they didn’t overturn the call. I don’t like the Thunder but I’m starting to like Shai

    I'm a Mavs fan but had to come and give the young King some props. Took full accountability for the foul. Didn't make excuses. And handled his business on the court every single game. If you're an OKC fan you've got to feel great knowing you have a genuine Superstar who is mature beyond his age. Nothing but mad respect for SGA

The reporters are trying to bait him to be childish and he basically pushes them back. Amazing. Refuses to blame the loss on the refs, refuses not to take responsibility.     As a Mavs fan, I have a new found love for Shia’s game. Man he was the best player in the series. He cannot miss from mid range, so consistent. I always thought the consistent adjective was exaggerated but no sir, it’s real. In my opinion he’s solidified himself as a top 3 player in this league. I used to think it was ridiculous he was 2nd in MVP over Luka but you can’t complain with the results when talking about a player like this.

    For a 25 year old to be so mature, taking responsibility for his mistake despite the fact that he single handedly kept the team in the series is quite impressive. I don’t get the hate he’s getting of late but I guess it comes with being great. I have no doubt he’s going to be a champion.

    He was so calm taking his shots during high pressure crunch times and hit most of them... looked so effortless and easy

      @@tylerbernard4368 it depends like I said it depends because you don't know what the rest of the West is going to do you don't know what's going to happen hopefully no injuries cuz injuries suck but you don't know what the West is going to do you don't know what other teams are going to do in offseason moves that's why you could say they've got a chance to stay competitive if they keep their nucleus then yeah they've got a good chance to still fight and be one of the contending teams, they've got a chance if they keep the nucleus together and then rotate the the pieces around Off the Bench then yes they've got a chance the key word here is a chance they don't got to guarantee but they've got a chance just like other teams do but it also depends on what other teams do and most certainly does cuz who else what other teams add what players? You don't know that yet so a lot of it is really up in the air and there's a lot of things that depend that's why there's no guarantee

    The interviewer who asked “when you say u cant look at it, wad do you mean?” needs to be better, Shai played his heart out and they lost a tough series, and u still asking dumb questions like that?     I really applaud this NBA players for keeping cool, calm and collected throughout these post game interviews and interviews. In general these interviewers and media stuff literally asked the same question and 30 different format of questions.

    What I admire about SGA’s game is he’s so calm and collected even in tense moments. He’s never rushed or pressured and makes the game look so easy. He’s gonna be a problem for the next 10 years. He has a chance to go down as one of the best ever.

    WOW! After watching this I'm now a Shai GA fan. This young man shows maturity beyond his years. He handled those tough and somewhat obnoxious questions like a champ. He may have lost but he has the maturity of a real winner.

    SGA was easily a top 3 player this playoffs. He not only scored, but played extremely good defense, and helped his teammates get going. OKC is easily a competitor for the title next season once everyone develops a bit more.

    SGA was magnificent in the series! He played great throughout. The series was close. OKC needs to fix their rebounding problem. Draft or trade for a rebounding center and move Chet to the 4 position. Bench Giddey. OKC needs another big.

    During the season, Luka had more points,rebounds,and assists then SGA. Dallas might have had a better record if they had Gafford and PJ from the start of the season.

      SGA's advanced numbers had him slated as the slightly better player overall. And this is the 2nd season in a row where they've been neck and neck in that regard, with Luka having a slight edge last year.
      Luka's hard line numbers looked better, but Shai does a lot defensively that doesn't show up in the handling stats that help his impact big time.

    I was surprised of all that talking about him in the MVP conversation, but after this series he changed my mind. He's been the better player on the court, with a game with quality and with cleanliness. Honestly I thought there wouldn't be comparison in a direct challenge against Luka.
    He proved me wrong.
    I'm disappointing that he happened to make the mistake that costed the season to OKC.
    Sport sometimes is cruel.
    But he's young and he's got time to make up

    MFFL here who has Shai in my dynasty fantasy league.
    Wow what a player. Kobe esque. The way he looks at his ‘foul’ on PJ is wise beyond is years. Doesn’t even want to look at it.
    Sucks to see a series end on the free throw line, but imo, that was a foul, as nitpicky as it seems. PJ held the shot through the ball contact, and Shais hand slides down PJs arm, kinda.
    Coulda legit gone either way.

      @@RB01.10 They had a MVP candidate best record in a stacked West in the reg season won a playoff series and battled a veteran Mavs teams in a good series while having a really young core that’s impressive.. I’m a Mavs fan but if I was a Thunder fan losing is always disappointing when you have a good team obvi but can still be proud of the season as a whole .. Jokic didn’t bust on the scene winning rings either should make OKC better in the future and all the picks don’t hurt either

    Probably the most deadly mid range shooter in the league. As much calls as he gets from the refs for being breathed on wrong he showed tonight he can get it done without the FT’s. So kudos to him and now they should move Chet to PF and pick up a C who’s big and can rebound! GO MAVS!

    OKC has nothing to be disappointed about, they are well ahead of schedule on what is potentially going to go down as the most dramatic and seamless total roster rebuild in sports history. They have youth, chemistry, a war chest of picks and an absolute superstar who should have been MVP this year in SGA.
    Next season will be pivotal, it will be interesting to see what Sam Presti decides to do. Dallas is probably going to win it all, they just have all the weapons, versatility, experienced leaders and two kings of clutch that are the absolute scariest duo when it comes to playoff basketball. Boston has a loaded roster but Luka is unflappable and Kyrie has been there done that when it comes to chip on the line moments.
    OKC is impossible for me to hate and SGA is such an elite player and hard worker, he will work his ass off this summer and come back even better and it's exciting just thinking about that.
