For my local NFL team (Dallas Cowboys) it’s hard to find PARKING for less than $100. If you want to park anywhere near the stadium it’s gonna cost you like $300. Cheapest ticket for their thanksgiving game is $153 for a standing room ticket where you literally have to show up 2 hours early and SPRINT to stand in the front to be able to actually see the field. Then you can’t move or someone takes your spot. Just not worth it to go.
That crowd looked great. The atmosphere there looked better than at some stadiums here in America. In my opinion it’s only a matter of time until London get’s it’s own team.
Trust me, if there’s one thing you don’t want with English hooligans is alcohol. When England came to play in my country, our authorities had like extra extra security around the city in case something somewhere happens.
seeing a lot of comments about how it's quite cheap here compared to america which is mad to me because these prices in our stadium for the NFL are higher than what they usually are by £2-3
That is a dramatic difference than what I just spent going to a NFL game here in America two weeks ago. Your conversion into American dollars for your total trip was way cheaper then what I spent on the tickets alone wich was $250.00 American. That's not including the travel expense, and the drinks at the event wich if your curious was an additional $80.75 American. Wich was a total of $330.75 American. But thank you for giving the Insight of a UK NFL game Cheers
I imagine the NFL lowers the prices to promote more attendance and involvement. Here the prices are so high because people will still buy them lol. Even the Jerseys at the UK game were cheaper.
@@Pushingbuuttons yeah that's probably true especially with the jerseys. It seems like it would be worth going to a UK game especially with the cheap prices.
There is a hard salary cap in the NFL..Teams are not permitted to spend over the cap, which creates parity..There are many differences..If London had their own team, it would be bananas I think..
unfortunatley a london team would always be at a disadvantage. id perfer to see the NFL bring back some iteration of the European NFL that existed until the mid 2000's. that way the NFL can take that void of the second pro market that the XFL has attempted at in past years. and fill it with their own presence, and potentially even create a D league style system where practice squad and draft drops can make it to a league somewhere. young college kids can ditch school and go use their skills on the way to the NFL.
You know what's mad? How up and down the UK, depending on where you are it's different North American sports that are popular. I'm in Nottingham, nobody here gives the slightest fuck about the NFL. But hockey is pretty big. London = total opposite it seems.
For where you were seated you've gotten really great value for your ticket. I would say that in the US your tickets would probably cost $200-$250 depending on how good the teams playing are. I've bought a ticket to an NFL game where I was literally at the very top row of the stadium for $100. Beer prices I would say are 30% more expensive there in the UK. Merchandise is comparable.
You can still find relatively cheap tickets for an average game like this one between 2 unfashionable teams in the US. I think the NFL are taking advantage of the British fans willingness to want the nfl experience. I happened to be in Baltimore just before Xmas 5 years ago and a ticket for the upper tier was 50 bucks on a cold rainy day ( and the ravens were still in contention for an unlikely playoff spot) at home v the colts. The ticket was 40 -50 bucks for Upper tier.the stadium was not full. For the big teams it is a different story entirely!
I've been to NFL games here in the States, and your cost assessment sounds about right. By the way: former Rams fan (ask any Arsenal fan about that situation), now Cardinals fan, and I live less than an hour from the Chiefs' stadium (a team I'm not a fan of at all).
Come to the USA and watch a game sometime. My son and I attend Packer games at Lambeau Field in Green Bay Wisconsin. It is absolute insanity! And yes, attending NFL games here in the USA is expensive too.
As a Scot I was shocked to find I could not get a glass of wine to take to my seat in a cinema in South Carolina. I guess it's the custom, but you cab usually take beer to your seat at rugby games.
For the seats you got. It would be like triple the price for a jets or giant game at MetLife stadium (there Home Field). And it would cost more if you went to a home of a team that was actually good. Which is not the case with with the giants or the jet 😢🙃
I visited London from the U.S a few years back. The ONLY difference that I wasn't already expecting was when I went to a match at Wembley and couldn't take a beer to the seats with me. Really threw me through a loop. Also typically the U.S is pretty strict about not drinking in public spaces EXCEPT for sporting events. Kinda cool they let the fans drink outside the stadium for the NFL game, really makes it feel more American.
You still have to make sure you don't open your drinks before getting to the stadium. At a chargers game in San Diego in 2016 I got nabbed by the police at the metro station outside the stadium for having an open can....also, I walked to LA dodgers stadium with a can in my hand ( stupid...but I like a drink..and don't want to pay 15 dollars inside...normally I down some beers at a 7-11 to save money and maybe have a pizza) but the motorcycle police guy just told me to drop it...and didn't charge me. Good guy!
Of course they jacked up the prices on things cause it's a "special" event. There are teams in the U.S. that are bad, and want to get fans in the seats and do deals like 4 seats and food for like 200 bucks. NFL teams are notorious for jacking up prices in the stadiums after teams win their division or the super bowl etc.
Fine comparison if you live close to the stadium. As a disabled person with my partner it cost me £1500+ for the Saturday and Sunday night in October 2019 for the first game Bear @ Raiders. I was told the disabled seating at the south end zone was sold out and the only seating available was hospitality. So I paid £450 for 2 tickets (£100 off because she is my carer) in the lowest hospitality available. For that I got 2 x 250ml bottles of Budweiser and 2 over cooked less than average hot dogs (no fries). Needless to say only a half of the disabled seating (at around £75 a pop) was being used in the south stand, which was more annoying because I was seated in the only crap viewing seat in the stadium with people constantly climbing over me and my partner to go to the toilets. Frankly the Spurs stadium is by far my worst experience watching an NFL game and I will never go back.
Actually for all professional sports in North America you're allowed to take your beer to the seats. I was at a soccer game(football UK/World) and I took my beer to my seat.
$9 for a beer and $13 for hotdogs actually is a deal 😂. I unfortunately don’t remember exactly how much the prices were at SoFi, but they were definitely more than this.
In english football you cant. but with rugby you can. its very strange as I tend to go watch alot of rugby matches in the same stadium as a football match but cant drink alcohol at the football like i can watching rugby.
There's just no culture for League in the south. We don't play it in schools, just union. It's a shame, as I've played it a couple of times and loved every second.
@@stevecooksley That’s great you loved it. We had Union practice today. I love both codes. American football is not in schools there yet they still sell 2-3 games at 60K. That makes me frustrated as a League fan. Have a good one dude.
It's still seen as the northerners sport though. BUT Rugby league did get a lot of exposure on BBC grandstand while I was growing up in Scotland...but it never took off up here either. The nfl Europe was popular for a while ( as a novelty ). The NFL is just seen as more glamorous..so it is more likely to attract fans wanting something different.
Just a thing on the beer, it happens at lots of Rugby League games too, definitely the Challenge Cup Final. I believe its because these sports keep the violence on the pitch & you (hardly) get any trouble with fans. I remember the Cardiff lads marching through loads of Rugby lads trying to get a bite at one final, they're chanting just got quieter as the size of some of these monsters dawned on them. You've got all the fans from all the teams wearing THIER colours & they'll usually support one of the finalists for that day if its not their team, also not unusual to see the players, celebrity fans & even refs to be seen drinking with fans after the games.
You're a good guy and you said Nike paid but this is EXACTLY why I don't want the young to be fooled by The NFL Machine. As you could see by the ridiculous prices, it's all about $$$$$$$$$$$$.. £6.90 for a Bud. £40 for a Scarh ??? £60 for a Sweater. I wonder how many REGULAR fans will attend...
the pro sports have gotten way out of control on pricing to go to a game. nfl about 125 per ticket for average seat, 10 bucks a beer, 8 bucks for a hot dog, parking is usually about 30 dollars. when i go i always figure its going to be about a 200 - 250 dollar day for the about 5 total hours of pre game and post game experience. i am in a smaller nfl market so that helps to keep costs down a bit as well. just to much to take the family anymore. 700 bucks for a family of about 4 to hit the game. kinda pricey.
I agree...I had to change my usual spendthrift habits to watch sports in the US..I am british. I soon adjusted...but I was surprised by how much Americans are willing to spend. I mean I was spending a lot just for nosebleeds, never mind the good seats which go for hundreds or even thousands of dollars! The sports organisations have really taken advantage of the Americans sports fans willingness to drop money for live events. I read that things were a lot cheaper 8 years ago...for instance.
I go every year, it's a very impressive stadium. I wondered if there was much of a mark up on the whole thing. 100 is about what I usually get through for a day. Obviously I have the transport and extra services KFC to add to my bill

seeing a lot of comments about how it's quite cheap here compared to america which is mad to me because these prices in our stadium for the NFL are higher than what they usually are by £2-3
That is a dramatic difference than what I just spent going to a NFL game here in America two weeks ago.
It seems like it would be worth going to a UK game especially with the cheap prices.
bro - was that vujanic in the back 😅
it was indeed 😎
It's crazy how can't drink beer in seats at a England football match. Hope they change that
i doubt its changing anytime soon, our fans and beer dont mix that well
If you wanna know why just Google hooliganism in the 1980s.
10.00 a beer is actually cheap compared to the 12-16 we pay in the states
Only thing missing is the tailgate. Bring your own beer, own bbq, save money.
You know what's mad? How up and down the UK, depending on where you are it's different North American sports that are popular.
I'm in Nottingham, nobody here gives the slightest fuck about the NFL. But hockey is pretty big. London = total opposite it seems.
In America they always let you have the beers in the seats
6.90 for a beer is a steal compare to here in the US.
Here in the US that pint would have been 15 or 16 American so you got off easy bro.
As a American it blows my mind that your not normally allowed to bring beer to your seat.
At rugby games/stadiums it's common place but football stadiums don't allow it due football fans turning into crazed lunatics after a few pints
As a Scot I was shocked to find I could not get a glass of wine to take to my seat in a cinema in South Carolina. I guess it's the custom, but you cab usually take beer to your seat at rugby games.
@@danielclitheroe1869 Thats more of a South Carolina thing the theater I live near let’s you order alcohol and take it to your seat
For the seats you got. It would be like triple the price for a jets or giant game at MetLife stadium (there Home Field). And it would cost more if you went to a home of a team that was actually good. Which is not the case with with the giants or the jet 😢🙃
for reference beers inside American stadiums are 10 dollars minimum for all sports
Actually, you did pretty good compared to what tickets cost here in the US. That was a great video, thanks!
The beers inside the stadium.
Try to get to Harlequins Big Game at Twickenham, similar atmosphere.
I've done that and it was fantastic (it helped that the game was a try-fest).
Not a bad shout. George???
Your dads a chill bloke
Yep! 🤣. Love your name too 😜
I visited London from the U.S a few years back.
Yeah, that throws me off too. No beer in the seats is so strange to me. I am happy the NFL and MLS allow beer in seats.
Good guy!
Thanks for sharing. I think the Pro Bowl should be played there too. Very nice stadium.
Hah that cheeky free pepsi 😜
You cant take drinks into the stands? Thats wild
I keep hearing him say Spurs and I keep thinking San Antonio Spurs. Gotta remind myself soccer exists
Finally the how much cost series is back 🥳
Drink in the pubs around the area before & after the games, give back to the local community & pay less than £3.50 a pint.
Damn there’s more atmosphere here in a pre season game than this
Prices actually seem on par with most NFL stadiums. I'm from Jersey and Metlife charges an arm and a leg for food and beer.
$9 for a beer and $13 for hotdogs actually is a deal 😂. I unfortunately don’t remember exactly how much the prices were at SoFi, but they were definitely more than this.
A beer in an American stadium is $12-15 you guys have it easy in England.
Dope Spurs jersey
We’re you sitting next to the kid from AFTV???😂
He’s next to us! Get it right 🤣
Really surprised you cant bring drinks to your seat at a match.
In english football you cant. but with rugby you can. its very strange as I tend to go watch alot of rugby matches in the same stadium as a football match but cant drink alcohol at the football like i can watching rugby.
I was there,a great time
Give us a premier league match and we'll send better teams!!
So DOPE 👍
was there October 2017 vikings vs browns
Rogers Stadium Toronto, i was at a blue jays game September 27th, Beers cost 22$ Canadian.. thats double
It costs 3 X + in America for the same thing . The tickets are 4 - 5 X . They want TV deals in UK
I can’t believe i thought falcons vs jets was either in atlanta or east ruthford New yourk
Wow, total with the goodies is only 147 us dollars?! Boy, is love that price. For my team, if I want y9 go to the stadium is around 636 us dollars
Sad Rugby League can’t get a crowd like that in London.
Sadly, the conversions line up to what it costs in the US. But there's only 8 home games a year so....
Our season tickets in Seattle cost $60 American per seat and we have 4 seats, that is just for the seats
$60 for the whole season or per game per person?
@@hurtigheinz3790 $60 per seat per game for 10 games
Did you park up at Edmonton Green, if so where is good to park on Match days ?
5:35 why bhavs is so sad 🤣
Rule 1: Never go to a football game thirsty & hungry. ^^
beautiful stadium
SKOL BABY!! NICE THEILEN JERSEY!
Am I the only guy who noticed David vujanic from copa90 in the background
the pro sports have gotten way out of control on pricing to go to a game. nfl about 125 per ticket for average seat, 10 bucks a beer, 8 bucks for a hot dog, parking is usually about 30 dollars. when i go i always figure its going to be about a 200 - 250 dollar day for the about 5 total hours of pre game and post game experience. i am in a smaller nfl market so that helps to keep costs down a bit as well. just to much to take the family anymore.
It could have been worse... you could have been watching a Spurs game. :D
I go every year, it's a very impressive stadium. I wondered if there was much of a mark up on the whole thing. 100 is about what I usually get through for a day. Obviously I have the transport and extra services KFC to add to my bill
Lmaooo at 5:24 was that not vuj behind you ??
yep!
Thought I was watching Ben Gravy with the theme song lol/ NUBNATION
Hold on is that Bhavs 5:35
