No one will ever be as good at interviewing Danhausen as Sam, he has been preparing for this for his entire broadcasting life having to spend all his studio time next to Jimmy and his characters having to address them as real people. Lol. Danhausen was great, I can't believe he kept the voice and character for over an hour without taking a sip of water.

Gotta say…this is a pretty cool interview to watch now that he’s been in AEW for a while. I’ve been kinda skeptical of how he’s been booked but I think that’s just part of his character. It’s fascinating/enlightening to hear that he was doing almost the same thing at Ring of Honor. I get it now.
TBH I don't follow wrestling, but the level of acting being displayed from both of these people is phenomenal. The interviewer's tone is exactly right; he one hundred percent buys into the whole Danhausen character and concept. It takes some really intelligent people to do something as multi-layered as this, blending fantasy and reality so well.

Has anyone ever thought of how incredibly entertaining it would be if Danhausen went to WWE and they paired him R-Truth? That would be pure gold with how both of their characters are. I would say have R-Truth go to AEW, but I respect him too much.😂
he had to have been influenced a bit by Johnny Depp's re-imagining of Barnabas Collins from Dark Shadows. the quirkiness just seems to perfect. I love it.

Sam is so good with him too...It is more quick-witted and spontaneously hilarious than listening to two drag queens argue over fashion accessories. I'd love to see Danhausen and PCO debut in IMPACT WRESTLING....they're both great in Ring of Honor I just think they're ready for a bigger stage and maybe not quite AEW just yet....but maybe 2-3 years booked by the *true* Golden Booker, Scott D'Amore, and Danhausen could go anywhere he wants afterwards. P.s. I'm not sure Sam gets that "The Pepsi Guy" is CM Punk....although I think his Cobra tattoo is way cooler than his Pepsi tattoo.
