They really said “nah, let’s do Maggie Mae instead” it always makes me mad how much they sidelined George’s talent, but then I always have to laugh when I remember they had the chance to make money from his songs, and they blew it and don’t get any of the money he made from All Things Must Pass

It's Brilliant that George wasn't considered a great writer until a while later. Had his writing bering out there already, we would all have expected or n taken all 3 of them for granted. But the it seems almost strategic brilliance that George's great writing came afterwards, like an extra ace they could play, which was in keeping with their consistency of innovation which was their trademark. I'm not sure if anyone understands what I'm saying. But for me it all just felt right into place, the right thing at the right time. Sadly they broke up too soon after that excellent working etique came to an abrupt halt!!

It's not new. A lot of muscisians do it. A lot of times, they will sing the song like this as place holders for unfinished lyrics or revisions.

I believe that is Neil Aspinall (their personal asst) along with Mal Evans (roadie). Aspinall was friends with Paul and George when younger.
