CORRECTION: When you draw a Zombie Card with a Manhole cover, the indicated zombie(s) will spawn at each manhole cover where there is a survivor on that TILE (the survivor does not have to be on the manhole cover space).
@@WatchItPlayed Also worth noting and has been menshoned is if the players zone is made up of other tiles then those tiles manhole covers also spawn eg. in this vid if the centre zone had a player in it then all 4 tiles activate manhole cover spawns (1st edition rules page 14). Glad we won't be bothering with the manhole cover spawning plus shooting survivors 1st when 2nd edition arrives soon. 😁🤟
I like Zombicide, but it annoys me how you hit a survivor, instead of a zombie when firing into a space occupied by both. My friends and I play with house rules to add more "realism." We roll a dice to determine who gets hit (zombie or survivor). 1-3 is a survivor hit, 4-6 is a zombie hit. We think this is better, since it allows the survivors to have a chance of saving their friends, but shooting at the zombies can backfire. Just like in the movies (I would say real life, but a zombie outbreak has never happened in human history).
Nathan Kirksey i think most people use house rules for that its far to extreme sure fire a smg at a friend and zombie lets face it there both dead but a pistol u can aim to kill the zombie so i personaly think it should be more down to what the ranged wep.this is just my opinion but i will say ur solution is actually really fair
yeah... probably the only house rule I'll ever accept as non negotiable. I get that they need the game to be challenging, but that goes to an extreme, and it's unrealistic. I mean, even if I fire an smg into a crowd, if it's mostly zombies, it'll hit mostly zombies, in addition to friendlies. but a more accurate weapon would be much less likely to hit a friendly, unless you're blind. or dick cheney
+Nathan Kirksey I do something similar, since technically there is still a possibility of hitting someone when firing a gun I have it based on the gun. For example if shooting a rifle or pistol, fairly accurate weapons so you roll a dice, if 1 2 it hits the survivor, if higher it hits the zombie. For shotgun the chances go up.
I know that I've said this before, but allow me to say it again: You are SO GOOD at explaining games. You are a 100 PERCENT OUTRIGHT NATURAL when it comes to explaining things. I don't even mean you're great or excellent or superb.. I'm saying you're above EVEN ALL OF THESE THINGS when it comes to it. I'd dare say you are AN EXTREMELY RARE, one of a kind of the BEST KIND OF EXPLAINER that exists. I am often so impressed how you're able to so smoothly keep talking as you're showing the board/cards/etc. I mean, I'd say you had to be reading the stuff off of pre-written down papers that are offscreen, but I'll be danged if I know how you do it. I even wondered if you would record yourself using hand movements and showing cards/figures/etc over the board SEPARATELY and THEN did a VOICEOVER of the rules, reading them from a paper, maybe.... but you match up what you're saying with points and showing things, so it can't be that unless you've somehow MASTERED knowing exactly what you'll say , when you'll say it, as you show the board/etc.... No.. it must be... that you're talking right then, as you're showing the stuff...and you do it flawlessly. You are also able to put it in the SIMPLIEST, most easily understood ways, often showing with visual examples. You would make an AMAZING teacher. Not just an above average or excellent one,.. I'm talking INCREDIBLE. Like, maybe the best ever in your state or among the top ten of the country. Because you have this huge talent of being able to explain things so very well. The words just naturally flow from you, you don't even have to take a moment to think about what you're going to say next, seemingly....which, again, leads me to believe you're reading it off of something, more than likely. ...but even if that IS the case, who cares? You do it so well..it all combines to make great videos...even if you write down beforehand and read it, all that does is show me you have a HUGE TALENT for writing things as well, in a simple to understand way. You should write freaking books, man..... teach classes..... you are a master at this, trust me. Trust me.. i have no life.. I watch youtube vids ALL DAY LONG. I've told you this before. I watch hundreds a day and have hundreds of subscriptions. I HAVE SEEN A METRIC BRICK TON OF VIDS and so I've seen my share of people talking, presenting things, explaining things, listing off things, etc..... YOU ARE ONE OF THE BEST... IF NOT **THE** BEST. In fact, I might say you were THE best I've seen. Anyway.. i'm on another "it's your channels turn" spurt, can ya tell? Gonna watch the next 3 or 4 plays today. :)
Well this is an incredibly kind post for you to have taken the time to share 79cents. To address some of your speculation, yes, I do use a script! I read the rules, play the game and then re-write the rule book from scratch into a format that I think would be best for explaining the mechanism of the game. I also record the parts I'm saying while I'm moving the components on screen. To me it's the most natural way to match what I'm saying with what I'm doing. Thanks again for watching and enjoying the videos and for being so kind in your feedback.

Great Video. I just got the game yesterday. Instead of me explaining the game "mechanics" to my friends and family on a day we play, I will be sharing the video so they can watch it prior to "game day." This way they will have an idea of how the game works. Thanks again for the video.
Very nice to hear you're able to use the videos this way. This will hopefully have everyone on the same page and ready to start zombie bashing when you all get together!
Good tutorial. Just wanted to point out one rules error I noticed. When the man-hole zombie spawn card is pulled you said it only will spawn zombies at the man-hole covers with survivors at the same "space" on the board. This part is incorrect. The correct word on the card is "tile" so it checks a much greater distance than just the one space. For purposes of when a survivor is on a space shared by two or more tiles they are considered to be within all tiles. So the little orange survivor in the center would have triggered a man-hole spawn in all 4 tiles if any man-holes are present.
Just scored this game at the Barnes & Noble Summer sale (50% off!! WOOHOO!) and the rules weren't very clear (at least to us) about the manhole spawns. You cleared everything up for us! Love your vids!
This was super helpful! We picked up the base game at a local game auction the past fall and haven't had a chance to actually put it on the table. I sat down to try it out and had lots of questions. You've answered all of them! Time to break this game in now!
RODNEY!!!! I decided to DO IT!! I backed Zombicide 2d Edition at the Presidential level!! I was looking for the first edition at game stores, wanting to look into it some more. I could not find a copy of the first edition anywhere. Then I saw the Kickstarter for 2d Edition. I wrung my hands for weeks unending, and today, 30 minutes before the end of the time period. So I just DID IT!!!!!!!
I bought Zombicide season 2 last week, I send a message to the Zombicide Creator to say that I found out about their game because of you. The answer they sent me was pretty funny... a all in caps "thank you" with a bunch of exclamation point =P Thanks for the great work Rodney!
I just bought this game and the manual was a little difficult to understand. This tutorial is simple and clear. Great instructions! Please make more :)
Nice! Haven't read through the complete section of comments. Some advice: a) Pay close attention to the threat level and try to have all characters switch the threat level at about the same time -> it is no good idea to have one character to be orange, while some are still blue; b) be very aware of the splitting rules, when groups of zombies move into different directions; c) and WHEN you run out of miniatures, then pay a lot more attention to the extra-activation rules. Enjoy the game!
I just bought zombicide s1,2,3 at a garage sale and it had everything except the books. Thank you for this gem even if it was made 9 years ago... lol. Had a great time with friends.
I bought this after watching your video, it came in the mail yesterday! I did a stupid thing however, I don't have anywhere to store the miniatures so i decided to put them in ziplock bags for now.. And I separated the walkers into one bag, and what I didn't realise was I mistakingly put Rick in that bag. Poor Rick! He didn't stand a chance!
Hahahah did anyone else jump at the 5:40 part? I don't know why, but as I watched the explanation I got so relaxed, trying to absorb as much information as possible, and then BAM... bunch'a'zombies showed up xD
Thanks Rodney for the reply. My bud bought Zombicide and I got a chance to play the first time yesterday. The game is a blast. Still can't wait to watch your play through and see how bad my friends slaughtered the rules. Happy holidays to you and the family!
i have a custom survivor. Chuck Norris Blue Danger Level - Dreadnought: everything. Yellow Danger Level - +2 Action Orange Danger Level - +6 Dice Rolls: everything Red Danger Level - Jump Kick: Once ever turn you may activate this ability for free. Target any area with a zombie. Move Chuck Norris to that area and kill all the zombies in the area.
ahaha this guy is great. I got into Rivet Wars and Super Dungeon Explore thanks to this channel. Looks like Zombicide too! I laughed hard when you dumped all those zombies on the table!
Had my first Zombicide game night, and with guys who have shown no interest to board games. Once I showed them, they showed tons of interest and even though we made a bunch of mistakes we had tons of fun.
I really don't know how you do it, but every time i watch one of your video's the game falls into place for me :) Thanx for another great instructional video, and keep up the good work :)
The thing I love most about your series is your family's involvement. It's great watching you play and interact with your kids (it's also cool how we, the audience, get to watch your kids grow up a bit). I wonder, do these board games help your kids academically speaking (improved math skills and all that)? I know a lot of kids whose math skills improved after they play Magic The Gathering. Anyway, great Job sir! Merry Christmas :)
Hi Rodney. Well, i must say thank you. I always feel my dice roll skill low, but now i know some one with lowest roll skill =). In the past few weeks, i see ALL your playing series, that whas a little tough, but very fun.
How have you liked playing the game? I am a little hesitant as it is $140 bucks here in Australia... although I can buy it online for $97 xD Just want to make sure I will enjoy it before buying.
If you have 4 players(including yourself) willing to take about an hour to learn. It's a blast for sure. And I paid 110 after tax so I'd order online as well lo. And we haven't won once with out cheating :/ which is the fun part.
I'm so glad you are doing a playthrough of this game. I saw it on kickstarter and thedicetower, but I just wanted to see it in action. Thank you so much!.
The manhole part: I believe you made a mistake. In the guideline it talks about tiles and whatnot. So if there is a survivor on a tile that has a manhole, a zombie will pop up (of course when the manhole card is drawn at the Zombie's phase) and not necessarily same zone. Please read and let me know if I am misunderstanding it.
This was a mistake in the video, but a correction was added to the top of the description for the video, back in the day. Something that can still be missed though, so sorry for any confusion.
Can you please go through the different seasons of Zombicide? I'm looking to buy it but overwhelmed with the sheer amount of products. Not really sure what to get first/later and how everything fits Thanks!
I just got this game and love it, and this is a great video. Although I like how you set up the tutorial video with the 4 player/hard map with the 4 objectives and spawns :D we played that scenario last night and it is definitely tough!
The video is perfect, but I think the manhole thing was wrongly explained. I was confused about it for a long time when reading the manual, but I finally got it. It's kind of weird to explain, but I hope you look into it on the manual, everyone.
+AliciaDarky Thanks for enjoying the video Alicia! Don't worry, we are aware of the mistake with the manhole and ensured the correct rules were put at the very start of the video description. Cheers.
nice to hear that you like germany, if you ever want to come here again we can play the game together XD iam from the south in germany near stuttgart :)
+Watch It Played. I have a question tho how do you get healed if your wounded and do you discard the weapons card that you use ? what makes me confused is that there is an ammo card and I don't know how to use it and what it's for.
+chewnasta loco You can't get healed if you get wounded (unless a card was to say that it provided healing). Getting wounded is bad news! You do not discard weapons that you use. The ammo card is a bit hard for me to explain through the youtube comments. How it works is printed on the card itself.
I get a little confused with only 2 things: When you want to move past a zone with a zombie in it how many actions do u spend? For example, if there are two walkers in a zone directly north of me, can I move past them to the next zone by using all 3 movements? Or would I get stuck in the same zone as them? Another question: When using ranged combat weapons do I wound my allies when they are in the same zone as me but I'm shooting a zombie in a different zone? Or is that only when a zombie is in the same zone as the both of us? Love your series btw, learned so many new games because of it!
1) You count the actions each time you leave a space. So to leave the first empty space in your example, would cost 1 point. To leave the second space would cost 3 (1 plus 2 more for the zombies). So that would be a grand total of 4 action points in order to do what you're saying. 2) Only the target space counts for who gets wounded. Hope that helps!
Also, one more question(sorry there are so many rules!) if there are two survivors in different zones and both are making the same amount of noise, and there is a zombie in another zone that isn't in line of sight with either of them AND equal amount of spaces separate the survivors and the zombie, do u apply the split rule? Or do u just move the zombie whichever direction u choose?
I didn't end up making this a regular thing, but I've returned to Twitch more recently and am hoping to (including a play through of Zombicide 2nd edition)
+terrancemuffin Lots of what you talk about isn't in the copy of the rules I have - where are you getting your info from? The copy of rules I have says nothing about any kind of order to attacking enemies in a zone..
+terrancemuffin Glad you're enjoying the videos :) As for the rules, I got them from the rule book. Are you sure you don't have them in your copy, or maybe you just missed them? Here's an online copy of the rules and you'll find the attack priority for ranged attacks listed on page 17: cmon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/zombicide_rulebook.pdf
It's quite possible I missed them. I bought my copy on Monday and have only played the tutorial mission and a random (hard) mission. More play will reveal the rules better I imagine! Thanks again!
Great video ty! Two things I noticed. 1: When you trade between Wanda and Ned (Ned's turn) I'm pretty sure Wanda can't hand things back to Ned before it's her turn? 2: Spawns from the Manholes spawn form the gameboard tiles manholes and not the players zones (Rulebook page 14)?
Thanks for the feedback, let's see if I can help a bit here: 1. During a trade, the players can swap and reorganize their inventory as they like. 2. In the description of the video we had added a note to update my comments on the manhole covers.
Hi Rodney. Will you be doing an updated Watch It Played for Zombicide 2nd edition? The rules have changed a bit. I would really like to see a update to this video. Cheers. As always a great tutorial.
we played this scenario last night. won but wasn't easy. had a moment where we wiped out all zombies in one turn, as soon as a few more turns where played we where overrun again :D
gonna be playing this sometime in the next month or so with my board game club i didn't really understand the zombie spawn points the way you described it, are you drawing a card for EACH survivor at EACH spawn point? like for example if you have 4 players, would you draw 4 spawn cards (one for each player) for EACH spawn point and spawn the zombies for the experience level they are on, so 4 players + 4 spawn points, your drawing 16 spawn cards total? or is it that you draw ONE card per spawn point and it's only if at least one player is in the next XP section then you spawn harder zombies
Do go back and check the section of the video labeled “Add New Zombies”. For each spawn point you draw a single card. For each card drawn, you spawn the zombies shown at the level equal to the highest level any player has currently reached. So with 4 spawn points, 4 cards are drawn in total.
I love this game, I ran a zombicide event at my FLGS a few months ago and it was a huge hit.I made dozens of custom characters , with mini's on a triple sized board everything painted and had quests and random events spawn thru the game.It was a blast.I have pics that I made public on my facebook page from the event, check them out.I am the fat guy in the metallica shirt :-) As usual, love your videos!!!!!
That's a wonderful tutorial. Thank you. A friend of mine who is non native Eng speaker tried to explain to 3 of us non-native as well in more than 1h. Then we watched this video together in 30min. It was a blast for us even we didnt win a single scenario. Seriously is there a way we can win the game without house rules?
I got 2 questions if i may? Both in survivor's turn A. Can I chose to spend my 3 actions in 1:moving 2:attaching 3:moving? Or 1:attack 2:move 3:attack? can I spend action points doing 1 thing twice or I get to resolve one kind of action only once per turn? B. Imagine I have bith uzis equipped and I shoot in the next area with 5 zombies. In my throw I get 4 hits (d5 and/or d6 x 4 times) do I actually kill 4 zombies or I kill only 2 because each weapon can target only 1 enemy? Thank you for your amazing video
A) Yes, you can repeat the same actions during a turn. B) The weapon targets the zone, not the enemy. Here's an example from the rulebook: Doug unloads his two Sub MGs on three Walkers who are guarding a Fatty and scores five hits. The first three shots easily blow away the Walkers. However, the Fatty takes the two remaining hits with no consequence, as the Sub MG inflicts only 1 Damage. Hope that helps!
@@WatchItPlayed it helped indeed thank you! And what about if in the same zone i have 2 survivors and 3 zombies. In the turn of the survivors one of them attacks with a firearm because he doesn't have a melee weapon to use at the moment. He is in the same zone as the enemies so can he target the zombies? Or he must first hit the survivor and then the Zs?
@@helloweenphoenix5579 This is a little harder to answer, because since the game came out, they changed the rules on this. Back when this was shot, the rule was you HAD to hit the survivors first. I think they changed is so that you only hit survivors with any misses you roll, but you'd need to check the updated rule book for that.

I did a stupid thing however, I don't have anywhere to store the miniatures so i decided to put them in ziplock bags for now.. And I separated the walkers into one bag, and what I didn't realise was I mistakingly put Rick in that bag. Poor Rick! He didn't stand a chance!
I have my minis in baggies too - but I wasn't as cruel to Rick as you were :)
Hahahah did anyone else jump at the 5:40 part? I don't know why, but as I watched the explanation I got so relaxed, trying to absorb as much information as possible, and then BAM... bunch'a'zombies showed up xD
See, zombies ARE scary :)
Indeed they are, especially in such large numbers :D
Thanks Rodney for the reply. My bud bought Zombicide and I got a chance to play the first time yesterday. The game is a blast. Still can't wait to watch your play through and see how bad my friends slaughtered the rules. Happy holidays to you and the family!
i have a custom survivor.
Chuck Norris
Blue Danger Level - Dreadnought: everything.
Yellow Danger Level - +2 Action
Orange Danger Level - +6 Dice Rolls: everything
Red Danger Level - Jump Kick: Once ever turn you may activate this ability for free. Target any area with a zombie. Move Chuck Norris to that area and kill all the zombies in the area.
Chuck Norris Eats Zombie's For Breakfast levelling option ?
Rodney holy crap you looked so young! Great to know that the quality was still amazing even all those years back!
It’s been a couple years since then, to be sure :)
ahaha this guy is great. I got into Rivet Wars and Super Dungeon Explore thanks to this channel. Looks like Zombicide too!
I laughed hard when you dumped all those zombies on the table!
So many zombies!
Once again Rodney, a fantastic 'How to play' episode - Hope to be there when you go live :)
Had my first Zombicide game night, and with guys who have shown no interest to board games. Once I showed them, they showed tons of interest and even though we made a bunch of mistakes we had tons of fun.
Sounds like a successful session to me :) We all make mistakes, as long as people have fun, that's what counts!
I really don't know how you do it, but every time i watch one of your video's the game falls into place for me :) Thanx for another great instructional video, and keep up the good work :)
michel van der Weide Thank you very much Michel - very pleased you find the videos helpful!
Hope you and your family have a great holiday. We'll all be as ready as we can for some quality zombie time.
I think gaming was helpful for their problem solving and attention to detail skills.
Hi Rodney. Well, i must say thank you. I always feel my dice roll skill low, but now i know some one with lowest roll skill =). In the past few weeks, i see ALL your playing series, that whas a little tough, but very fun.
Great video! So much better than reading through the rule book. Thank you!
+Brian Nutter You're very welcome Brian - glad you liked it!
The fact that you posted this on my birthday is destiny
Probably your best rules intro to date. Can't wait to see this game in action.
Thanks Brad!
Just got the game and this was a Great source for help Thanks!!!!
Subscribed!!
Thanks for subscribing! Great to hear the video was a help :)
How have you liked playing the game? I am a little hesitant as it is $140 bucks here in Australia... although I can buy it online for $97 xD
Just want to make sure I will enjoy it before buying.
If you have 4 players(including yourself) willing to take about an hour to learn. It's a blast for sure. And I paid 110 after tax so I'd order online as well lo. And we haven't won once with out cheating :/ which is the fun part.
Kewlausgirl a hundred and what now?
I...I hate how realistic some games became during 2020, but thanks for reaching me how to play this :D
You're very welcome!
I'm so glad you are doing a playthrough of this game. I saw it on kickstarter and thedicetower, but I just wanted to see it in action. Thank you so much!.
Thank you for making this video. This was a wonderful tutorial that helped us play the game right away.
Great to hear Christopher!
This is the first time I've wanted you to play a game again
Who still watching this in 2018? *raises hand*
Glad to have you here!
2019 boiiii
:)

Actually I'm in the year 5089
cool, I just got this game for Christmas and was trying to learn the rules before I actually opened it up. Love the series!
Hope you had a fun time playing!
This is a very insightful tutorial. I'm a big fan of this game along with the spin offs.
Thanks for checking out the video! Glad it was helpful!
Can you please go through the different seasons of Zombicide?
I'm looking to buy it but overwhelmed with the sheer amount of products.
Not really sure what to get first/later and how everything fits
Thanks!
Hey Kalvin, I don't usually cover expansions (so many games, so little time!). I don't actually have the expansions either :)
Rodney always has the best board game videos!
Very kind of you to say.
Good quality tutorial as always, have learned to play most of my board games via your videos. Keep up the good work :)
Thank you Kamran.
I just got this game and love it, and this is a great video. Although I like how you set up the tutorial video with the 4 player/hard map with the 4 objectives and spawns :D we played that scenario last night and it is definitely tough!
It can be a brutal game, to be sure :)
This is the first video I watched of yours, so many more to come!
Thanks for sticking around and watching others :)
@@WatchItPlayed they always help me rodney! 4 years later and im still using these videos to help me out!
@@WanderingKumquat Sweet :)
One of the best tutorial videos I've seen. Going to try to pick this up soon, will you please do a tutorial for Risk Godstorm?
So glad you enjoyed this! No plans to feature Godstorm currently, but hopefully you'll find some other neat games to check out on our channel.
I just got this game. This video was so helpful as always Rodney!
Very kind of you to say! I hope you have a great time playing!
Cheers.
***** Haha, ok, thanks for the answer!
I'm really looking forward to this series. I've been excited about this game for awhile now.
Another great intructional video! Thanks for the head up on the for parents with younger viewers.
Thx for the video, i understand the rules better than from the rule book. Greetings from germany
So glad you liked it. I visited Germany recently - loved it!
nice to hear that you like germany, if you ever want to come here again we can play the game together XD iam from the south in germany near stuttgart :)
I stayed in Stuttgart during the trip :)
Is there a link to the ‘live play’ you did on Twitch? Love the tutorial and wanna watch it played before I give it a go.
I released it here on youtube as well: th-cam.com/video/c1DrPiEgS64/w-d-xo.html
Good luck with the project Rodney. Have fun ! Best wishes, Rick
just as a heads up, Amazon currently has this game available for $60.00 which is a HUGE steal as the game can retail NEW at $90-$100
Thanks, this was a big help for my tabletop group
+yurtishome A pleasure to assist! I hope you have a great time playing!
Very professional and clear. Thanks.
+David Schofield You're very welcome. Thanks for the kind comments!
you have to be the best at explainingmich appreciated made the game simplistic.
+chewnasta loco I'm so glad you found the video helpful!
THANK YOU FOR THE DETAIL WALKTHROUGH
You're very welcome :)
Great man!... I am just starting with Board games and your videos are great
Martin Pacheco Villegas Welcome to the hobby Martin! Thanks for the kind words about the videos :)
Zombie slaughtering in glorious 1080p! Thanks Rodney and family; you made my X-Mas!
Just got my game today! cant wait to test it out with some friends!
Hope you had a great time playing!
Good work on the video. There's a lot to this game and I think you summed it up well. (sorry for the extra work it caused you) ;-)
Thank you!
thank you for doing a wide selection of games.
Glad you're enjoying the variety!
Thank you so much! Just played this game recently and wanted to clear things up
Also, one more question(sorry there are so many rules!) if there are two survivors in different zones and both are making the same amount of noise, and there is a zombie in another zone that isn't in line of sight with either of them AND equal amount of spaces separate the survivors and the zombie, do u apply the split rule? Or do u just move the zombie whichever direction u choose?
ennieday1009 Yes, you still apply the split rule.
I played it last night with friends. It was great.
So glad you enjoyed it!
reminds me of 'last night on earth' except everyone has their own character, and it's co-op play, which i like. thinking of getting this game.
And there's plenty of expansions if you enjoy it!
I loved the idea of letting the community play live via Twitch. Would you be up for doing that on a regular basis?
I didn't end up making this a regular thing, but I've returned to Twitch more recently and am hoping to (including a play through of Zombicide 2nd edition)
Cool video. Good luck with the live episode!
Thank you so much for this video. So many of the rules aren't clear in the rules and this has cleared up a lot of confusion!
I so hope I can make the live playthrough this games looks like a crazy fun time!
Thanks for the feedback, let's see if I can help a bit here:
1. During a trade, the players can swap and reorganize their inventory as they like.
2. In the description of the video we had added a note to update my comments on the manhole covers.
I want this game now
And now Zombicide 2 is out as well.
Hi Rodney. Will you be doing an updated Watch It Played for Zombicide 2nd edition? The rules have changed a bit. I would really like to see a update to this video. Cheers. As always a great tutorial.
Thanks for the interest! I talk a bit about that here: th-cam.com/video/EdtDuvIUa6A/w-d-xo.html&t=342
Thank you-very helpful video and look forward to playing the game
+K Bee Glad you liked the video!
The game does come with one or two of them
*Proceeds to pour a waterfall of miniatures*
Thanks for the video! Very helpful!
Very welcome Gordon!
Do you have a video on “how to” regarding the cars?
How to:
Get in
Drive
Move
Kill
Get wounded
Get out
How many can get in
Thanks
I don't have a video for the car rules I'm afraid.
we played this scenario last night. won but wasn't easy. had a moment where we wiped out all zombies in one turn, as soon as a few more turns where played we where overrun again :D
Those zombies are relentless!
gonna be playing this sometime in the next month or so with my board game club
i didn't really understand the zombie spawn points the way you described it, are you drawing a card for EACH survivor at EACH spawn point?
like for example if you have 4 players, would you draw 4 spawn cards (one for each player) for EACH spawn point and spawn the zombies for the experience level they are on, so 4 players + 4 spawn points, your drawing 16 spawn cards total?
or is it that you draw ONE card per spawn point and it's only if at least one player is in the next XP section then you spawn harder zombies
Do go back and check the section of the video labeled “Add New Zombies”. For each spawn point you draw a single card. For each card drawn, you spawn the zombies shown at the level equal to the highest level any player has currently reached. So with 4 spawn points, 4 cards are drawn in total.
Thanks for the guide man
You’re very welcome!
I love this game, I ran a zombicide event at my FLGS a few months ago and it was a huge hit.I made dozens of custom characters , with mini's on a triple sized board everything painted and had quests and random events spawn thru the game.It was a blast.I have pics that I made public on my facebook page from the event, check them out.I am the fat guy in the metallica shirt :-)
As usual, love your videos!!!!!
Turns out, yes, you really DID love this game :)
This game looks awesome gonna try it someday!
Thanks for checking it out here!
This is an awesome idea. I hope you plan on posting the final video from twitch,
Your videos are the best!
Thank you Conny!
That's a wonderful tutorial. Thank you. A friend of mine who is non native Eng speaker tried to explain to 3 of us non-native as well in more than 1h. Then we watched this video together in 30min. It was a blast for us even we didnt win a single scenario. Seriously is there a way we can win the game without house rules?
stm12p Yes, the game can be won, but it is challenging - like surviving a zombie apocalypse :)
I cannot wait to see how this plays out!
Looks like fun, I might even check it out!
Glad you enjoyed the video.
I got 2 questions if i may? Both in survivor's turn
Hi Rodney! Any plans to do an updated video for the 2nd edition rules?
Thanks for the interest! I talk a bit about that here: th-cam.com/video/EdtDuvIUa6A/w-d-xo.html&t=342
@@WatchItPlayed Understood, makes total sense! Thanks for replying!
Love seeing these new episodes!
