Hi, Brian. This is the first video of yours I have seen and I will listen to others, but based on this video I am guessing you are providing info on retirement life in the Philippines? I had a friend who used to talk about retiring to the Philippines and he had started to provide me info on his experiences, I found it a fascinating subject, but he unfortunately passed away from COVID-19. I have several chronic illnesses, and my immune system crashed when I was 40. Subsequently, I have a lot of pain. Do you know how pain management would be handled in the Philippines? I currently live in the US and we have pain management dr's who handle prescribing pain medication for chronic pain instead of family practitioners handling it.

opioid pain meds are not widely prescribed in other countries.. and in fact some won't prescribe them at all. I have had issues with opioids in the past and I have found other ways to deal with pain. Sometimes the pain is worsened by the prolonged use of pain meds. I only take ibuprofen now.
@@anniesshenanigans3815 I'm glad that works for you. I have autoimmune diseases that are causing granulomas in my lungs and hardening some of my organs, so unfortunately, ibuprofen is no longer an option.
I would HOPE they mean that is what they want to budget.. not what they are actually getting. My hope is to live on my SS (actually about 500 less than what I will get) and have my savings for travel and creature comforts.. and of course emergencies. I currently make a decent income, and save about 2k a month towards my future life in another place. I will also Sell my home and add to that. Not going to keep this house even though it's paid off. I live in Florida and sick of the prices and the hurricane threats. We have one that just blew by and decimated the big bend area, up into Georgia and wiped out towns in North Carolina.. killing hundreds of people, hundreds more missing. I am totally over it.
Wow sounds actually pretty scary here some areas you would want to avoid for typhoon but some many places no problem..and from what I hear I think you will do woundful with the income having it invested etc ...I will be doing more videos on budget and some my personal ideas 💡 and best is always take your time come for a longer visit before selling anything or making set in stone plans
