@@worldboatskiff8709Do you do repair work? I have a 1980 era wooden skiff built by my friends uncle its made of juniper wood ,white cedar and heart of pine framing.built in N.C. a Harkens island skiff. Problem as the boat is now in maine is that its a well skiff and it takes to much water over the well ,stern area.i would like to move the outboard 25 hp to the stern and fill In the bottom to make it more like your design.cost effective? Interested.? I live in Braintree.anyways great webpage .thanks,Ken
Hi! I would like to build a boat like this, to be more exact something like this. I'm interested about the thikness of the plywood. Can you please tell me? It would be a very big help. I checked the link in the description, but I don't really find it.
What type of plywood are you using and is it the same plywood everywhere including the transom? Amazing work sir I am planning to start this build soon after the first of the year I’m assuming Etsy is still the best place to get the plans
I love you scarf jig. How thick a sheet will it cut? I built one out of wood but it only cuts a 1/4 inc sheet. Not a 10 in saw like you have. Yikes lol... I'll have to save my pennies for a while to get one of those. Thanks for the video.
Wood types, suppliers, specs (e.g., thickness, etc), and ratings (e.g., structural, etc) are not mentioned in the "list of supplies." The tool info is helpful. Thanks.

"Make some dust..." That describes most of my woodworking attempts.😅
Unbelievable the work he has done. Filming, editing, working on the boat, the jig and on and on. He makes it likes it’s easy.
And making a video every week, and making building plans, can’t wait to start something new. Coming soon
Plans on building that bench in first few minutes would be awesome!
OK I might have to do that.
100 👆. I had to stop the video a rewatch that bench setup several times. Have shared this video with all my friends. 🙌

The bottom is 3/4 inch or 18 mm and the sides are 3/8 inch or 9 mm

That’s the maximum cut, 3.5” on that 10” saw. I do use it on 3/4” but I will show that when we do the bottom.
How long and tall of a boat can a person make, using the scarfing technique and plywood??
I don’t think there is any limits I have seen very large catamarans built using the same methods
Master boat building. I am thinking about building a similar boat. Did you use marine grade plywood?
Yes I did meranti or okoume plywood A very nice to work with
What size engine would you put on a boat this wide and long
40 hp. Max. I like 20-30 hp for low weight.
How long was your build? Great work by the way!
6 months
Here we can watch professor X is building a boat
🤓
What kind or brand is the plywood?
Merranti plywood ,it is Philippine mahogany.
