    ** FOR SIMAGIC ALPHA MINI USERS**
    This guide is a little confusing in the last step with the front mount so I figured I’d leave a quick comment after I figured it out!
    So install the side DD Mount and front mount just as they say, using the M8 flatheads and the regular size M8 screws you’ve been using on all the gussets.
    NEXT, get out those long screws and the end nuts. On 2 of the screws, put 3 washers on each, leave the other 2 normal. Insert the wheel base into the mount from behind and use the 2 normal screws to secure the 2 TOP mounting holes. Screw them almost all the way in. Then keep holding it in place, and grab the screws with the washers on them, those will go in the BOTTOM 2 holes, then screw until tight. Then at that point you can put the end nuts on the top 2 screws behind the base to secure it (make sure they’re tight). Then just tighten everything as much as possible with the Allen wrench and you’re done! Hope that was a simple enough explanation :)
    Loving this rig so far!

      so idk if the base got changed but the long screws are incapable of going all the way thru the base, making it impossible to attach nuts, and the long screws are too long. I'm still not sure how to attach the simagic alpha mini, do i just use the regular m8's?

    I received mine yesterday and built it last night. It is a really solid kit and I'm really happy I went with this model. This video was a huge help in putting it together correctly on the first try.

      @@advancedsimracing Would it be possible to also have some photo assembly guide? The video is good, but not quite descriptive enough to put it together without some frustrations. Even just some close ups of the measurements would greatly help the positioning of some of the specific placements

      @@emsachems2717 Hey there, can you please share what frustrations you encoutered putting the ASR 3 together? This would help in rethinking our guides. Positions are merely suggestions in most cases, by the way, as the rig is meant to be fully adjustable to your racing position.

    • @emsachems2717
      @emsachems2717 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@advancedsimracing While I understand and love that it's completely adjustable, the video does not convey which parts are adjustable during set-up. It would help much more to use other parts in assembly as measuring tools so that there's a better hint of what can be changed

    For CSL DD users, regarding the side mount spacers since it's not clear in the video.
    The spacers go BETWEEN the 5 5/8" pieces and the Wheel Deck Mounting plates. At 14:31 in the video you can see where they need to go, make sure to use the longer screws that are provided in the bag with the spacers.

    Wish you covered mounting motor base to the CSL or GT DD side mounts. Standard flat and the front mount are obvious, but not so much the side mount. Where do the spacer plates and extra hardware go that are packed in this option?
    Otherwise, this kit is well packed, engineered, manufactured and solid as a tank.

    Are the spacers for the CSL DD Sidemount necessary? I didn't see anything in the video and didn't realize what these were until reading some comments, but I just mounted the wheelbase directly to the sidemount and it seems solid?

    I've had some lower back pain with this due to the height of the seat and the pedal plate being so similar, but I'm not seeing any way to raise the height of the seat mounting bars. Is there a way to do that that I'm missing?

      @SaltyBob355 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could source some 1.5” x 4-6” x 22” long aluminum profiles to replace the existing 1.5” x 1.5” x 22” seat mounts.

    This is a lot harder to follow along due to blurriness, and not close up angle of what is going on at every step. Please add in paper manuals, you're not helping the consumer by cutting out paper. At least an online pdf. 2/5 stars for setup
