    Not sure why the great comments. Received asr 6 with no packing list, no manual and no answer on the phone during ordinary business hours. Online assembly takes me to a TH-cam video of an asr 4 with completely different hardware. Regretting this so far. I’m a handy guy but without correct measurements and nine boxes of random stuff I’m in for a long haul. On a positive note it was beautifully packaged and looks high quality

    Great video. I was less impressed with the PDF, but the video helped me put this together in an hour or so. Great job with this. Thanks !!!!!!!!!

    Received my ASR4 a few days ago. The setup video is straight forward. I am kinda handy so all I needed was the measurements for the horizontal and the vertical columns. Got mine done in no more than 1.5 hrs (excluding the seat and DD wheelbase installations and adjustments).. For those who have difficulty fitting the DD mount between the two vertical columns, make sure you dont tighten up the vertical columns too much otherwise you will not be able to fit the DD mount in. Once the DD mount is installed, then fully tighten the vertical columns.

    I am beyond impressed with the packaging and how beautiful the black is on my asr 6... I have had a p1x on my last rig and I'm blown away by how organized all the shit was in the box with nuts and bolts and labelled beautifully... my p1x was defiantly not like that.. beautiful job guys

    I’m trying to build along with the video. You guys should remake the video with more accurate descriptions of each bolt used for each step. M8 Screw is not descriptive enough because there is 20mm and 16mm. I’m going to have to rebuild my rig again. I’m second guessing every hex head bolt I’ve used now.
    I recommend labeling your packaging to match the steps and descriptions better in the video.
    Label the bags (44 16mm bolt/screw) and then another label saying (Step #1, #2) etc.
    Each step im guessing at which bolt to use and now I have to restart.

    Ordered an ASR4 yesterday on the summer sale. These videos, straight forward and easy to follow are what made me decide ASR. Love that you guys take the time to make something like this.

    I have to watch ads to see the directions? Seriously?
    Can you just make normal printed directions that accurately describes what needs to be done

    Just finished building my ASR4. Some suggestions to make this video perfect (especially when watching it on mobile while building the thing):
    1. All hardware bags should be labeled like the '48xM8 ...' hardware bags. None of the others in my packages were labeled.
    2. There are multiple points in the video where measuring is involved but no mention of whether the measuring is on center, edge, etc.
    3. At times the captions get in the way of what is being done, the best example occurs at 10:40 where it took me 5 times to make sure I had my gusset facing the right direction because it was blocked by captions.
    4. The video needs chapters, so we can quickly bounce back to the start of a section without having to manually find it. Step 1 @1:43 Step 2 @ 4:23 , etc

    Great job, video is perfect.
    I will say mine arrived in fewer boxes, but everything was included. I purchased the CSL DD version, and now that my rig is almost complete, I await the DD Pro.
    GT7 is downloading now...

    I don't know if the packaging was changed because some of these comments make no sense. Everything is extremely well packaged and labelled and extremely easy to follow the video as well. It was a joy putting this rig together. As for the measuring.. sometimes people need to use their brains instead of being spoonfed everything. It says measure 22 inches. Even if you are unsure ( altought its still clear in the video but i can understand its harder to see), the other piece your putting on top is 22 inches.. it doesn't take much brain power to figure it out. Maybe hire some Ikea guys to put it together for you if you find setuping this rig hard.

    Does the extra side bar on the right side (ex: for shifter) NEED to be installed? I enter my rig from the right-hand side and worry this would block my ability to climb in

  • @wilsonc91

    Good overall. Pretty sturdy, but the powder coating is disappointing. One of the longer pieces for me is flawless, the other one has multiple scratches from assembling and chips. It seems like the powder coat did not really adhere or bond nearly as well to that piece as my other one. Other than that disappointment, the assembly instructions could use some work but overall the product is decent minus the issue with the coating.

    Pedal tray will not stay up in place. Bolts are as tight as they will go but the pedal tray still falls down.

    • @advancedsimracing
      @advancedsimracing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you referring to the tray or heel rest? Which screw lenght are you using? That sounds like screws that are too long for proper tension.

    • @advancedsimracing
      @advancedsimracing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes sir! You'll get a set of screws & t-nuts for seat rails or brackets. That's assuming your seat also has those items attached of course...
