woaah!! im also being momo for halloween this year :D i made my mask and the flamingo coat but its def not detailed(nor is it "functional" because mine isnt a screen since i did not have the time for it sigh..), but hey its something right haha. yours looks so awesome

I love the headpiece!!! It looks exactly like the game. I want to try to recreate this but I'm not sure what kind of foam boards you used that were sturdy enough
the packaging says it's called "sturdy foam" though i'm not sure how helpful that is haha 😅 it has a thick shiny paper covering and the foam inside is the translucent sparkly kind (not regular styrofoam). searching "foamcore board" brings up some similar products!

i've already said i'm no longer planning to do a puppet tutorial! this is because ZeBirdBrain already has easy and fun puppet tutorials you can follow. go watch her stuff!

I really want to make this but i dont own a tablet, any other recommendations of how i can implemebt the face?
i'm currently trying out using addressable rgb led strips! if you search up "DIY led matrix" you'll get a sense of what i mean. not sure how well it'll work out since i'm experimenting with it myself still. it'll definitely be lower res and a lot more like pixel art than an actual screen, but so far it's the only other thing i'm trying!
that is of course if you want a screen that actually moves. i've seen a lot of cosplays that have a still image lit up by led lights on the sides! if you print the face on a transparent film and light it up from behind, that might have an even better effect and be more screen-like.
Next time, you get the pen. You will write that "$35" will turn into "$3.5." 😂
when i saw it again i did notice the tag had been ripped in half so that it only said $5 👀
