Even if this is just a Wandering Village clone I really hope we get more games in this genre, part Rimworld, part Frostpunk and part Spore would be a DREAM for me.
While it's likely not an exact clone, the similar art styles makes me wonder who/what the two games are inspired by. Is there a specific graphics pack with this art style? I don't see many games with this style.
@@Strawation it's not very similar, the wandering village has nearly everything in 2d except for ombu, this has a lot of things in 3d, also, I'd probably say it was made like that to save resources, as the arts seems to be specially made for each game
Got some nice Populus 3 vibes. The 2d sprites, followers being called Braves, the way construction works, queuing for training, the cheering animation. Brings back great memories

this is a game that i respect despite not having played it because... it touches on something that sweet old populus the begining did about rts... is not manpower a vital resource ;) ....i just so badly wish it sell in nuts numbers so the guy could afford to hire assistant coders and dual develop it ,both as rouge light... but also with potential 'endless' terrain and the classic save load function to return to a game when ever you wished like in populus .....ever will i dream of a populus the begining in full 3d and larger maps.. but still able to run on potato comps ^^
aaaw the victory animation the braves are doing is the exact same as from populuos. one of my fave games from back in the day. brought me right back that did.

I doubt the solo dev has made this after wandering village was released. They have probably been making this for years by now
