  • Quick run through on how to replace the climate control module in this model Jaguar. The drivers side ac was blowing hot and in another video of mine I ordered and changed the heater valve which fixed the problem for about a day. Then with some research I found that if that valve goes bad the module can go bad too and sure enough it was because when I changed it out now it runs like a champ.

On a 2004 Jag S Type R just bought and the dash screen is not working, the air fan is blowing and wont adjust. None of the other buttons seem to work. Radio does work. Does the whole unit need to be replaced. That seems to be what you did on video. If so whats the panel called .

I , Am I to understand after you changed the Heating Control Valve it was still blowing cold on one side and hot on the other and after you changed the Climate Control Module it fixed the problem ? That's the problem I have now.

Hi I have a question for you. I am looking for this module and one video says that it is a unit behind the glove compartment. But I see you are referring to the controller itself as the module. Is it perhaps different on some cars? Mine is a 3.0 V6 2005. In the video, they describe two wires inside of the module which burn out and can basically be repaired by soldering in a new wires. I have just installed a new heater control valve just as you have done. But now i’m stuck on full heat.
