thanks a million for your excellent video, my s type was suddently hot inside, fitted new climate dual control valve, the AC worked good, however strangely my heater work opposite for driver/passenger from dash board and difficult to balance. i just reconnected the connector, probably also CCM. i will follow your steps next time. I love this old S-Type which has just covered 320,000 km during which it had just a few minor problems.

I changed the air coolant on my 05 S type and its cool again had never been refilled so changing the air filters also helped

I recently purchased an 04 S Type with hot air coming from vent and truthfully not thrilled about investigating this issue. However, this video is an excellent aid in diagnosing this very problem, breaking it into 3 or 4 steps most any average mechanic can follow. Thanks so much, I expect to find my problem without much effort !!

It could be low coolant level, or heat control valve problem, or clogged heater core, or defective interior temperature sensors.

    jaguar 2000 s type v8 no heat.

No heat means the coolant isnt making it into the cabin. add coolant, or flush lines, there's something blocking it. For me it was low on coolant, I had to bleed the lines of air and then I was able to add more coolant and get heat

On my S-type R additionally to all electrical problems, the heater core was clogged. The heat performance was lower than it supposes to be during the traffic jam or while standing on traffic lights.
